I bought this to replace a very old scanner and have been impressed by the speed and quality of the scans. The removable cover is also a nice feature. The software that came with the device is a bit clunky but gets the job done. It's a solid choice for a basic home office scanner at an affordable price.

The good: Absolutely excellent image quality Light weight, barely bigger than the 8.5x11" paper it scans. USB self-powered, no AC wall wart needed. The bad: Not particularly fast. Over 12 seconds to produce a 300 dpi. 8.5x11" b/w document copy. My 21 year old Acer 320 BU was faster than this. No LZW compression. The jpg of the above file is 1100K! There's no freakin' power switch! To turn it on and off you're supposed to plug and unplug the USB connector. USB connectors are not intended to be power switches. You can buy switched USB hubs but still - how cheap can you get? The ugly: The provided scanning software is a hot mess. It looks like it was designed by four different teams in four different cities, none of whom were on speaking terms with the others. Slow, bizarre menu choices, hard to use, even harder to figure out. Ugh.

Good scanner for basic needs, isn't too big or fast but decent for the price

The best thing about it is that you can scan a document and output all pages into a single searchable pdf file. It's a little bit hard to figure out how to do this in Windows 10, but it works.

Let me preface this review by stating I do not have much experience in the scanner Market. I really bought this camera in order to transfer canvas art to digital format, in that regards it is great as it is one of these few scanners that open up vertically instead of slide paper through, therefore I'm able to scan the canvas itself. I have no complaints when it comes to Quality the only issue is installing the right drivers as it took multiple attempts from the website to find the right drivers out of the four options.

It scans well, I bought it for my son's homework assignments to be able to send them by email instead of the funky way they were using to send projects. It works great for our needs.

Great basic scanner. Now my important documents can be backed up and old photo albums become easily shared and viewed.

Kind of difficult for the non-technical person who received it, gave it as a gift. It scans pretty well after set up.

Easy hook up. Easy to use. No brainer. I wanted to start selling a few things in line. This works great for that. So easy to move around.

Excellent. A total advance in scanning tech. No CD needed to upload software, no power cord. It uses the laptop or PC as power source. I'm pleased.

I purchased the V19 Epson flatbed scanner to scan and file old black and white family photos. Works great. Scanned about 500 photos so far and no problems.

I purchased this flatbed scanner to use primarily for photographs. It does a good, but not excellent job with photos. For the price, it is a good purchase if you want acceptable quality photo copies.

Nothing wrong with this item, great value, I just arrive to me with the glass shattered...
