    Decided to try basic scanner for scanning of docs & photos. Performs well. Did not need fancy extras. Found scanner cover to be very thin and flimsy. Feel this detracts from overall value of scanner. Used mostly for sending photos via email. Satisfied overall.

    I love it. It is much more convenient than having to memorize everything I read. After years of memorizing so much textual information, I am so tired. This little miracle of modern technology allows me to rest my medula oblongata as this scanner serves the same function as my photographic memory.

    This is almost obsolete because of apps and printer/scanners, but it serves a purpose. Scanning a document into a PDF is what I find most useful.
