The product quality is great. The machine itself is solid. I had a lot of documents from tax forms to other documents to scan. The machine scanned in seconds. And the software lets you decide if you want it as 1 pdf or each a seperate etc. saved me hours of work and I don’t have to have so much paper documents at home now.

This scanner is fast and easy to use. It's also compatible with our dental software.

Prints are crisp and easy set up. Small enough to fit on filling cabinet.

The Epson - Workforce ES-400 Document Scanner is perfect for my application. it works seamlessly with my NEAT program. I highly recommend this scanner.

This scanner replaced my previous one and so far it's working well for my needs. It took a little time to get it set up to scan multiple pages into one PDF file. I had to download another file for it to work. My previous Epson scanner broke down after 980 scans and was rated for 100,000 pages so I hope this one lasts longer than that.

Purchased to scan music for using a tablet. Was able to scan over 50 pages into a pdf on my computer, then move them to Dropbox to be imported into my tablet's music software. My only wish is that I would've spent the extra $50 for the wireless model E500W so I could scan directly to the tablet, and not be tethered to the laptop with the USB cord.

Very pleased so far. Setup was a breeze, and works great!

I didn't give the 5 star due to the learning curve of the software. Perhaps someone that wouldn't fiddle around with all the included software might find it easier. The item works as intended. Very quite and fast. Once the ABC's are learned it is pretty straight forward. For personal use seems to be fantastic, even a bit of an overkill since I don't use it daily.

Does what its supposed to couldnt get them to download automatically to one drive.

I purchased this scanner for my wife's law practice. We purchased all-in-one printer, scanner and fax units before and had all kinds of random erratic scanning behaviors. This unit worked perfectly out of the box. Great speed and quality. It also scans legal! We are very satisfied.

It does the job so well. I like that it can scan credit cards and receipts without any problem. But most importantly I like the speed and efficiency of scanning a lot of documents. The software has to be downloaded online. It’s compatible with MAC and PC. I tried both and it worked.

I've been messing with computers since before keyboards, and have had at least 10 scanners that gradually got better in color depth and resolution, but not in ease of use. I've been scanning stacks of recipes, business cards, and student registration cards since I got this beast. It's really a time saver and easy to use.

I have researched document scanners and landed on this one. Compact design for desktop and has all the features you need.

My old scanner was getting difficult to feed sheets of paper into after 6 years of high volume use. I picked this one up when seeing it in stock at my local favorite Best Buy store. After hooking it up and downloading the recommended software online, I am amazed at how fast this scanner is. I wish I had bought this sooner!

We got this scanner to solve a "paper" problem. Things like insurance papers, medical billing, even charge-card statements, we can now scan double-sided and put them right into the computer...then shred the paper copy! It's great, we copy, organize and store/file in one step. Now we can just get rid of all that paper!!

Simple easy to use and scans nice love this thing.

For 5 Months this has plugged along and been very useful for electronic conversion of old files. The problem is our small office has multiple workstations where we've attached this, and each time - the proprietary Epson software needs to be installed. I know it's not Epson's fault, but if you use nothing else but HP Printer Scanner Copiers, it's a little tedious. Overall though, it's a fine product.

I needed a card scanner that could stand up to a heavy load and this scanner has met my need. I do need to clean the scan windows frequently as sport cards have bits of dust particles on them but that is a easy task. The price was just right!
