This is the second WorkForce printer I have purchased and it is the best printer I have owned for high volume printing.

It’s a good thing this printer is no longer available. This is a horrible all-in-one. I have elusively bought Epson all-in-one’s for years. I have been extremely happy with the performance and reliability. But this one…straight of the box it’s just a bad performer. I actually bought this unit a year and a half ago. However, I received another one as a gift around the same time as my purchase so I decided to keep both and had started using the other one before my order came in. That other unit is an Artisan 837. That was actually my second Artisan 837 and I highly recommend it. As for this unit…it can’t do simple things like you can do with the Artisan…like scan a picture to the computer directly from the unit and not the computer. Granted, you can still sit down and take the extra time to open everything on the computer and scan that way. But when I’m busy and need to scan several things. I like to be able to go up to the unit, put whatever it is in the unit to scan, choose to scan as a picture or PDF, select the computer it’s going to and walk away. You can’t do that with this unit. You only have the option to scan as a document from the unit. Yes, yes…I know I can come over to the computer…sit down…take a bunch of extra time to open up the scanner, etc. and scan…blah, blah. But that’s time consuming. Plus, even to scan as a document…you go through a few more steps on the unit than the Artisan. This unit has something to set up on your computer…a WSD. This unit IS hooked up to wifi and again…I can scan as a document only from the unit to the computer…and can do all the regular stuff from the computer…all on wifi. I state this because they are connected. But the unit ALWAYS states they are not connected and can’t find a computer when you choose the WSD option. Well, I have downloaded all the drivers, etc. many, many, many times…and on two different computers. Been to the Epson website to do it, etc. All in the hopes that this magical connection will appear with one or the other for this WSD experience. Nope! It’s just a completely frustrating piece of so-called technology to own. I wouldn’t recommend this product all. The only reason they got a 2 star rating out of me is because it prints documents nicely. I know Epson is capable of making a better product from my experience…this was just a major fail. Unfortunately for me…I’m just learning it was a colossal waste of money.

Had an issue with it scanning but spoke with Epson and they help me correct it. Works great...Fast network scanning

Very pleased so far with this printer. It was easy to set up and the print quality is very good. The options/functions screen could be a bit more intuitive. I've only been using it for a few weeks so I'll see how long the ink cartridges last and how long the printer lasts.

Initial setup was straightforward except for the scanning which was a little more difficult. Printing speed is excellent and extremely clear. The scanner is capable of up to 1200 DPI but the clarity at 600 works great. Connection to my home network was easy and works great on all my network home computers. Great printer for the month and a half I have owned it.

I have always had an Epson, this one scans both sides and prints both sides. Easy to set up and works with WIFI and Airprint (from cell phone)

I was looking for a wireless printer for my now Mac and this easily fit the bill. A bit more clumsy as a scanner, but I'm still figuring it out.

This printer large. It was easy to setup. Now, having read an "S" load of reviews on various printers, the epson received accolades on its print quality. Some even compared it to laser printers. Having used it for a month now, I can say I'm dissapoonted with the print quality and would compare it to cheaper printers. I have even changed the quality settings to excellent. The print speed is lightning fast though, I will give it that. This printer was purchased for a home business, so far the only thing disappointing is the print quality when crisp printing is a must in order to reflect positively on your business. If the ink lasts as long as they say, the print quality will be livable.
