This printer prints very well, but it is difficult to get individual ink cartridges for it. I'm not sure why its hard to find the ink cartridges unless you are buying the entire cartridge set for $130. I don't always need all of them but just one cartridge.

The black printing is pretty crisp and both color and black are much faster than my 5 year old Canon. But the color quality is muted and not as clear as that same 5 year old Canon. So, I'll probably keep my Canon for pictures and colors that need to be more precise and use the WorkForce for day to day printing.

Easy to set up wireless. Great quality and good price. Only had it a short time, so we will see how it last.

The ease of operation of an Epson printer is unbelievable. I had an Epson WF 3540 prior to my WF 4740 and loved it. This one prints photos much faster and better. I had 2 name brand printers before costing much more than the epson. Operation was much more difficult and prints and photos poor. Both printers crapped out after 2 years each. My WF3540 lasted me 7 years still printing well, I just wanted an upgrade.

This is a great printer when it's on sale. Double sided printing, double sided scanning, printing from any connected or wireless source imaginable, 9 seconds to the 1st print, great quality, scan to email, print from anywhere in the world, great diagnostics and on and on. Would I pay full price for this as a home user - no. But when it's on sale, man, what a great deal this printer is for the capabilities in a home printer that were literally only available in a a full fledged office printer just 5 years ago.

Bought this for home office and this machine prints so much better thatn the HP we had and cost half as much.

This is a very good deal for the price. Love having the WI-fi connection option. Still trying to figure out how to best print labels. Also, wish the scanner could handle multiple pages.

In the "new normal" that is working from home, we needed something that could copy, scan, and make quality copies. This all-in-one fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to install and has the capability to print remotely. Major score!

My boss had bought me a HP printer. Right from the beginning it had issues; wouldn't connect, wouldn't scan, etc, so the day I was going to take it to my house to work from home it wouldn't turn on. I took it to the Geek Squad to fix and needed a printer immediately so I bought this Epson, I have always had Epsons, I absolutely love it. It is easy to use and fast. Staying with my Epsons.

The printer offered two trays to allow minimal changing of the paper. You could keep copy paper in one tray and photo paper in the other. It was a little cumbersome to manage in the software, but workable. The automatic document feeder for the scanner is best for documents - not photos. Since I hoped for a rapid scanning option for documents and scanner, I returned the Epson and purchased an HP printer and a Fujitsu scanner

This was purchased to replace one that had much less capacity, although features were similar. This one is a work horse: quick printing, even two-sided, in brilliant color when you need it. The only problem I had in setup was locating the USB port (it's on the left front corner, just above the top paper tray, but I was looking in the back), and that was something I did on my own. Great machine - I look for a lot of service out of it, and I am very satisfied with it.

I love this printer. I own a small business and the last one was just too small to handle all the printing. I upgraded to this one and the dual trays is a life saver. No more swapping out papers or reprints since I have them set up to print what I need each tray to print.

Ok this thing is huge. I got it for my kid who is at college and she does graphics and art etc. she prints her homework and labs as well as the art she created. It prints fast and the cartridges have lasted a long time. Even be free ones that it came with. It does take up a lot of space and it’s big and heavy but that’s ok it’s not overly heavy.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Epson WF4740. I replaced a horrible Canon printer that always disconnected from my WiFi network and wouldn’t print things often. This printer is the quickest I’ve ever owned and stays connected all the time. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a good home office/ small business printer.
