The Printer itself was bulky, heavy and not easy to us. The instructions were NOT explicit or self explanatory. I ended up having to take it to geek squad just to get the ink put in correctly and then after repeated attempts could never get my laptop to recognize it. I ended up having to go to Office Max and got everything done that I needed a printer for and for NO FEE. I took that printer back and thankfully store Manager gave me FULL credit back on it.

"Insert Paper Cassette Correctly" error

Paper tray is not recognized when loaded. Not a software problem; same issue happens over and over when trying to copy a document.
This issue was reported a few times, on different websites, from different customers. I wish Epson could fix the problem where it originated and did not leak defective products on the market. Where is your quality control?

Not sure what the issue is and I had an IT person look at it. Each day I have to turn the printer on and off to do any printing. I've had and Epson before and it was great. Not so with this one. Keep looking.

Absolutely the worst printer of all time.
Always slow, always faulty, and a pain to setup (I'm Software Engineer and never had this much trouble with anything like this one).
After a recent firmware update, I'm not able to print anything because it doesn't want to identify the ink cartridges (since they're not epson's); this was the last epson thing I'm buying for my whole life.

I hate this printer! printer is set up properly and it will print half pages or sometimes nothing at all. I didn't use it enough during the return window to realize that I needed to return it. I'll be going back to HP!

Do not buy an epson product ever. Anti-consumer, disabled third party ink with latest update. NEVER BUY FROM EPSON. Was working fine with third party before it automatically updated the firmware.

This is not durable as a printer. Scanner works still but the printer is a piece of junk. The ink costs a lot and Im taking it to the electronics dump, rather than struggling with it and buying new ink. With all of human progress, one would think they can make a durable printer. Apparently, it is too much to ask.

Bad experience, I tried to set it up and at the end there was a message that came up saying that the the paper casette has an error, I took it back to the store but they couldn't fix it, so I had to returned it.

This printer/scanner was working perfectly with windows 10 - dual printing/scanning, searchable pdf. With next updates dual printing and searchable pdfs, With windows 11 - non of them.
This is the worst software for printer/scanner I ever met.

Very unhappy with this printer. The screen instructions were confusing and it seemed to print when it wanted to. I returned it to the store and replaced it with another brand. Much happier with the new brand.

My first and only Epson printer. The ink supply level is controlled by an internal chip and you MUST use only EPSON cartridges. What a scam, do NOT guy Epson.
