Seems like a good system but the rear speakers do no produce any sound. I will contact the Geek Squad. The In Home Consultant and the Installation Member seemed to disagree on several items. The Installation Member thought I should have been installing different equipment.

2 GEEK Consultants came to my home. Very nice guys. Put booties over their shoes before entering. They came to help me decided on what size TV to purchase (based on the cabinet I had) and options for setting it up. Additional questions about the TV were answered and if they did not know the answer they used their smartphones and got the answer on the spot. Based on their recommendation, I purchased the 40" Smart HDTV

We weren't sure how or where we were going to set up our home theater, but after a visit from Geek Squad we knew exactly what we would need and how to arrange components to make the most of area we were installing it in. The tech even discovered that our room was pre-wired for surround sound, something we wouldn't have known without his help. Can't wait to have them back out to hook everything up.

Very impressed with consultant who was totally focused on my needs and expectations. I would request George by name if I needed this service again. In addition to my home visit, he met me at the store to help me with my purchases--- on his day off. He also personally delivered one of the items to my house that had to be procured at another store location. I could not have been more pleased with this experience.

The overall picture quality is outstanding. The advise provided by the store sales associate and the in home advisor proved very important as we selected the correct size screens and combined with the Sonos surround system my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. The home installation package is something we value highly as well. Best Buy We believe is doing an excellent job; we will continue to be frequent customers!

The consultation was essential as we purchased a home from a previous owner with speakers in ceiling and patio - needed to know if they were functional before we decided on our speaker system. Also, recommendations made were very useful. We always have the Geek Squad install our products as we are new technology deficient and they do it right the first time with some tricks we would never know.

The folks that came to my home, were great, they listened to what I was wanting to do, and made great suggestions as to how to achieve what I wanted. Then they met us at the store and helped us pick out products that would achieve what we were trying to do. We now are able to watch our new TV either in the living room or the Kitchen nook by swiveling it from one side to the other.

Many companies can offer consultation on home theater set up. The key that separated Best Buy from others is that Best Buy listened to our requirements and found an excellent solution. Others had consulted with us, asked our requirements, then ignored those requirements to offer their solutions, which were unacceptable. We're are very happy with the items suggested, in addition to the Geek Squad installation.

We wanted to get information about the new 4k TV's and pairing it with a new stereo system and receiver for our living room. He was able to answer a lot of questions that we had and gave us printout of what he recommended for our room. I'm glad I did the consultation.

The gentleman that came to my home was cordial and knowledgeable. The price of the consultation was a good price and even though I did not purchase any upgraded products I would recommend that others that purchase a large screen television purchase a consultation.

This was an in-home consultation for home audio sparkers and installation. The employee did the best they could to find speaker wires that were installed in the walls of a new house. He was unable to determine 100% that the wires would be there for the speaker installation.

my wife had magnolia team come to the house to configure and make suggestions , I researched their suggestions on line , then went to Best Buy and spoke with sales reps who also made suggestions and streamlined the purchase , I had "Geek squad " install , program and calibrate the system . From beginning to end my experience was excellent ,seamless and I would highly recommend utilizing their services

I am gutting my house and will include surround sound and speakers on other rooms. There are many technology options. I set up this in house consultation. They helped me by understanding my house and the design to suggest excellent options. Then it was suggested I visit a large Best Buy store to hear the narrowed down options. I couldn't be happier with this process and help offered.

Having someone come to our home and help us was the best decision we've made. We were not aware of the difficulties we'd have putting it above the fireplace. He ordered us everything we needed- from size of the TV to the cables that would be necessary. Without his help, this would not have turned out to be a successful project. We now have a set up that not only sounds good but looks good too!

Consultant came on time and had good insight into project and interests. Good listener. And arrived at a good combination of products. Made some changes however, after review of recommendations due to size and other alternatives after a second visit to store.

Our consultant was very personable; great to work with. We had many questions and he was very thorough in all his explanations. He listened to our needs and provided us with two pricing scenarios. Armed with this information, we then met him at the store, did some tweaking, and decided on a system in our price range that we think will work well for us. We enjoyed working with our consultant very much.

I figured that I would try this in-home consultation service as it was free. The guy who came to the house was nice and had some suggestions, but in general, most of his input and insight was something I could have gotten from someone not actually coming to the house. He told me he would write up a report with recommendations and email it to me. A week went by with nothing, So I reached out to him and requested the report he promised. He said he would send it again… Nothing. Then it took two phone calls to Best Buy headquarters to get someone to send me the report he promised, which they did send but it had no big recommendations or insight on it.

I arranged for Geed Squad consultation for a music system throughout my house. I am glad I followed Geek Squad advise for Sonos speaker system, rather than ceiling speakers. Matt was wonderful to work with - professional, knowledgeable, reassuring, and pleasant. I am very happy with the result, as I can hear music in all rooms. Having this system actually saved money over ceiling installation as well.

We had (2) things done: an audio set up for the in-house TV, and an outdoor TV installed. Both are working wonderful. The indoor audio set up solved our problem of not being able to hear the TV very well (there's a very busy street in back of the house, and it was hard to hear). The outdoor TV was a very nice upgrade to what we had, and the built in speakers are great.

We are so pleased with the Consultation appointment that we had recently. The employee provided excellent options and suggestions for us to consider. He recommended based on our needs the equipment that would best suit us. He helped with the scheduling of the service call by the Geek Squad to install the equipment chosen and based on his recommendations. Excellent Service - Kudos to all!
