I had a consult to get help with my home audio system and the guy was phenomenal! He told me what needed to be done and gave me pointers on how to do it myself. He was well versed in my equipment and the newest equipment on the market! I haven't taken on the whole project yet but when I do I know if I run into trouble the geek squad will bail me out!!

We are happy with our purchase & installation the team did a GREAT job. We do feel that the tv is a little high on the wall. Tony, Steve & Scott did a awesome job! They made sure I understood how to work the harmony remote. Thanks guys!

Lee did a great job making sure I had the right equipment to match up with the existing wiring and connections in my home. He did a great job making sure that the set up met all my requirements and expectations. Lee was very professional and has been available to answer questions and to make sure that I enjoy the home entertainment system.

I recently had a TV installed by the Geek Squad. The guys that performed the install did a great job. They arrived on time, they knew what they were doing , and they got the job done quickly. There was an issue with the sound-bar, and they scrambled quickly and overcame the situation. Very satisfied with my experience. Highly recommended.

Tried to schedule a time for consultation. First they had the wrong address, then to fix that I called. The date was for the 19th of August. I called to confirm today after getting numerous schedule change alerts. I found out the appointment was changed to the 26th and still at the wrong address after I was told three weeks ago it was corrected. I have canceled the service, will just use a local shop for my home theater. No time for those who cannot keep a schedule.

The in home theater expert was knowledgeable, no so personal, little late on the estimate, kinda overconfident- like I wouldn't consider anyone else.This guy wanted to use only the most expensive, highest end, biggest brand equipment. I just wanted my TV installed and some ideas about sound? He was set on building a movie theater in my home. I'm sure he would have done a fine job, but I found another company that did an incredible job, was less expensive, more professional , and listened to what I had to say. I've had great experiences with BB people in the past, but not this guy. Can't win them all BB.

This is the second time I have used the geek squad to set up a home theater and multi room sound system. Consultant Leon Woods and his teammates are the ones who really know their stuff and use that knowledge to help their customers achieve your goals. We are now building and I wouldn't attempt to do it without Leon. This team is a big winner!

Overall I am fairly pleased. Salesperson did not tell us of the need nor the benefit of calibration...techs doing install told us. Uneasy about the fact that TV came without a power cord and a remote This review format is very limited

If you are going to spend hundreds of dollars on a TV and you aren't sure if it is size appropriate, you would be well served to have a consultant come to your home. Knowing that you have purchased the right product and also knowing that the product purchased will be installed correctly can give one a sense of calm and satisfaction. Geek Squad your terrific !

I bought a TV and had it installed after the cable was connected. The installers suggested that I may want to switch to HD cable, and I did. When the self installation kit came I thought I had to redo all the cords but I was pleasantly surprised that the installers had the HD cord connected and ready to go. I really appreciated their foresights and suggestions. Thank you.

Worth it! After telling the consultant what my ideas and needs were, he was able to give me feedback on what might work better and what equipment and techniques (specific speaker placement for my home theater) would be best for me. He followed up with an email with what we had discussed and links to some of the equipment he would recommend.

The gentleman seemed to know what he was talking about but I wanted advice on how to install myself. He seemed to be wanting to sell me the installation. Definitely would be worth it if having someone else installs.

Darren came to our home to help me design a sound system for all my audio needs. He took time to review my current equipment, listen to my wish list, and give me options for achieving what I wanted. He then presented me with a detailed design and cost without pressuring me for an immediate purchase. I'm totally pleased with this service.

It was so worth the $99 for Beat Buy to come out to our home to consult on how to design put in home theater space. We learned a lot about what we needed and some things we did not. In the end, the design plan was just perfect for our needs. Since the consultation, we've had Best Buy back out and implement our plan. They did a fantastic job!

Had an existing TV mount but didn't know if it was adequate for our new TV purchase. They came and checked it out and made suggestions for a mount that was stronger and had more articulation for better viewing. They then returned with the new TV and mount and did installation. They couldn't have been more knowledgeable, helpful and kind.

I had Derek Meeker, System Designer for a free consultation for an amplifier for my all whole house built in surround system including outdoor deck. He gave me excellent recommendation for a Sony amplifier with in my price range and with needed features. I would definitely recommend Best Buy's free home consultation program.

We love the clarity of the 55" Samsung for recorded shows and the sound bar is awesome. However, the faces of people during a live broadcast or pre-recorded broadcast are washed out. The Geek Squad did a great job of installing and tutoring us on the workings of the TV. Also, we really appreciated the in-home Consultation which enabled us to make a decision.

Had I realized that the consultation simply involved us being told what items to buy, I would not have purchased it. I was expecting a diagram with details. Admittedly, I should have asked what the consultation included.

I really enjoyed the consultation & the consultate. I'm looking forward to working with them in the future, especially since in store A/V representative had absolutely no interest in telling me more about the products or line of products that I was interested in. Once again, the consultation and working with the MTH expert was well above my expectations.

We were very impressed with our in home consultation. We had a fairly complicated existing, multi-room system (parts were not working), and we were trying to integrate new items. He was able to listen to what we have, and guide on how to improve and upgrade the entire system, along with how we could expand. All in all, he was GREAT!
