This GE microwave is a solid little machine, especially at the price point. Best Buy did a great job on the install – me not being a handyman, I would not of tried that on my own. Looks and works great, my only slight criticism would be that the button pad requires a bit more pressure than I’m used to, and the position of where the function keys are or so different from our previous KitchenAid model that it’s taking a little time getting used to.

Our old over-the-range microwave finally gave up on us and we needed a replacement - this one fit our needs. Not top of the line, but no problems to speak of in the several weeks of use so far. The only very minor gripe to mention is that the door itself feels a bit light and not as sturdy as you may think it should be. That hasn't created any issue though. Paid extra for installation - perhaps a bit pricey but worth it for me as I really don't enjoy doing it.

Very good microwave. The only thing i didnt like is the light underneath the microwave is very dim. I know i could just replace it with a brighter one but it should've came with a brighter one.

It was a little challenge to install, but it was our first time. I love the features and ease of use. But I am still not used to the dark interior, and I miss not having a shelf like I had in the prior generation. It looks nice and .eets my need

The GE microwave works fine. It has a lot of nice features however I think the sound is loud. It might be because it's a sensor microwave which means that as it's cooking something it could add more power at different times going up and down. It's a little annoying but it does get the job done. Overall the microwave finish is very nice I love the inside finish. It's kind of a charcoal gray interior which is nice. I like it better than the white interior. To reheat and defrost works very nice. Overall I would have gave it a five star rating if it wasn't for the noise why it's cooking or reheating using the sensor.. My other GE microwave was more quiet. it just might be because of the sensor cooking that the sound changes why it adjusts the temperature. For me it's annoying.

The GE 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave is a replacement for our previous microwave. It has a larger inner chamber which allows you room for larger dishes. It does not have all of the features our previous microwave had (less reheat options, more steps to cook options). The lighting over the range is better than our previous microwave. (Our previous microwave was a Whirlpool.)

This is my 2nd Ge in 10 yrs. The microwave works great so far but the numbers and letters are hard to read it's to dark the picture shows a grey background but it's really black and the letters are not white. This one is quieter than my old one.

Only used the microwave for a couple of weeks. like design. Minus one star for noise when microwaving first begins. Not overwhelming noise, but a bit bothersome at times. Makes the unit sound hollow. I probably would buy the unit again in spite of noise.

Our old microwave (GE) died and we replaced it with another GE. We were somewhat limited as we had to fit it an area with an existing backsplash. As is the case with most microwaves, the reheating of dishes is a little uneven. However, for our needs it works fine. Not to be picky, but the keypad keys are a little hard to engage. On the other hand, maybe this is a good thing to make sure you make the proper selection. We have only had the microwave a month so will report back if we have any issues.

I needed a new GE microwave to replace an old GE that was sparking. I was kind of stuck with GE since the dimensions matched the old spot above the range. This unit has been working great. The darker interior doesn’t show splatters which is kind of good.

Easy to use. Great features. Got this to replace old Space saver. Much nicer unit.

Something g is wrong with my turn table. Glass is to big and wheel won’t stay in place

This microwave is amazing...looks great in black slate and works very well! I love the ease of programming. It’s quieter than the one it’s replacing (an LG), and the food seems to heat quicker. I haven’t bought anything from Best Buy in a while, and I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. The price was the best out there and this microwave was an excellent choice!

Awesome features and very easy to clean from spills and splatters! Love the room whic is an upgraded from my Samsung 1.6 cu•ft size.
