Extremely loud a/c

It did not really cool the room down, it just took the humidity out of the small room that I was using it for. It was also the loudest air conditioner I have every owned. It ran loud and the compressor was extremely loud when it kicked on or off. Best Buy was great with the return process!

I bought 2 for our bedrooms in a NY city apartment. Since I have 2, it appears they are not consistent as one seems to blow better than the other one. They are not great quality but will do for a few years.

I've had better luck with the numerous Frigidaire's I've bought in the past. You can't angle the vents up or down, and it doesn't cool as quickly or intensely as the other brands out there. I give it 3-stars because it was a bit cheaper than the other brands but I kinda regret it. I'll probably sell it next summer for another one.

Surprisingly quiet yet efficient. Only wish the front vents could be angled upward more. Air Congress almost straight out but can be angled left/right.

Good AC window unit, but it is loud.

Suppose you do not mind the background noise than this product is for you. If you do mind then I would recommend a different one. After using it for two month I can see how the unit gradually got a lot noicer. Overall, this unit is average. It does the job but is not the best one obviously for the low price you tent to have a less quality product.

This would be bothersome and we can understand your discontentment. The decibel rating for this unit is 57/61 dBA, which should be comparable to the sound of a normal conversation. Feel free to review page 15 of the owner's manual (linked on our website) for a list of normal operating sounds and to rule out any potential issues. Also, make sure your unit is installed correctly, as improper installation can cause excessive noise (see pages 9 through 13 of the same manual for installation instructions). Subpar AC

Unfortunately, that was a mistake. This AC is noisier and doesn’t cool as well as the 15 year old ac I was replacing. My daughter insisted it was ok, otherwise I was going to box it back up and return it.
