Lots of air from a small unit

Way Too Loud

We got this to replace an old unit, thinking that a new one would be better overall. Not only was it as loud as a jet engine, it didn’t keep the room as cool as our old one. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

OK for price

Also the way it's designed the air seems to blow more towards the right (control side) no matter how you direct the vents and there is no up/down vent control.

Loud and full of water. Buy an LG!

The GE units are horrible. They’re LOUD! If you don’t remove the drain plug, the outside pan gets excessive water in it at high humidity and the fan hits it making a constant water splashing noise. However, the manual states removing the drain plug makes AC unit less efficient. The excess water also creates mildew buildup. The LG units are quieter and they have a fan that whips the water outside of unit. LG is so much better. Our old LG refrigerator was even much better than our new GE one. Gotta quit buying outdated GE garbage.

The cool setting will not shut off when desired temp is reached. The eco setting is ok but you will have to play with the temperature settings. 120 sq foot room should cool a lot faster than what this does. Overall though it works just need to work with the quirks that it has.
