    Great product. Keeps everything cool, just like we like it. this is the 2nd AC of this model I've purchased. Does a great job during the heat of the day.

    This is much louder than the older unit it replaced. It is in 2nd bedroom and sounds like the garbage truck is approaching the house. Don't know how my 22 y/o sleeps trough it but does. $189 on DOTD.

      Hello Lamreyes - We're sorry to hear about the noise you are experiencing with this air conditioner. Many times, issues with sound are caused by the vibration of the unit. To minimize this, make sure the installation instructions are followed correctly and the unit is well secured to the window frame. If it is loosely installed, the vibration will be much louder.     Doesn’t really cool down like it should.. Display like the 12,000 BTU unit one I got doesn’t stay on it times off. Thought it would of been a better unit especially since it was from GE
