Even at full speed and cooling, it struggles to cool my small room. Definitely should get something different, unless you're fine with it being 70 degrees or higher at all times.

This air conditioner has 6,000 BTUs of cooling power, and is best for cooling rooms from 150 to 250 square feet. If your space fits that size, you may want to check that nothing is obstructing the airflow to the unit (such as curtains or furniture) and the air filter is clean; those factors are important for cooling performance. There are additional troubleshooting steps in the manual. We hope you are able to improve the cooling, but if needed the manual also has information on your limited warranty. It should have zero problems cooling it off. It will say it’s 68 degrees in the room but an external thermometer shows 73. I think the thermometer in the AC is messed up.
