Posted .Hello Alici - We apologize for the trouble you have had with your air conditioner. There are many factors that can affect the time it takes to cool the room. If the room is starting at a high temperature or a door is left open, it will take longer to cool the room. After cleaning the filter, press and hold the Filter pad for 3 seconds to reset the filter light. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - JB
