    This AC unit didn't cool my room down at all. I had a Whirlpool AC in the same room before, which would make the temperature comfortable in 20 minutes. I ran this GE AC for an hour but the temperature would drop just by 1 degree and the heat was still there. Maybe I got a defective unit. I returned this AC

    This air conditioner was never great, but it did the job - until yesterday. This A/C is in a spare room so does not get heavy use - but yesterday it simply stopped turning on. We unplugged and replugged and pushed the restart butten = nothing. We will have to replace it - only a little over 2 years old. Not happy.

    The air conditioner is efficient and quiet. The only issue we had is the directions do not include a comment to remove a grommet so that water drains out of the unit.

    his AC has less cooling power than I expected. I purchase for a capacity of 50% above the intended room size and find it to be barely adequate.
