No difficulty setting this up on the windowsill. Has different options such as fan and cooling as well as energy saving mode. Bought this for both my sister and my best friend - sister uses for her room and it blasts cold air; best friends uses in her living room which is an open plan into her dining room and it blasts cold air. It has been over a month. Decided to review when appropriate to say it. No problems at all!

Purchased two of these for my home. Placed one in our back bedroom and one in the living room at the front of the house. With a couple fans these are able to cool the entire house within 30 minutes. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I meant to get a different model but accidentally got this one. I’m pretty happy with it though since the noise it makes is very little compared to others. It’s also small so it pops out as much as the window sill does. Overall great quality ac unit. (It does cool small rooms pretty fast).

Does the job! Keeps our bedroom very cool. It is somewhat loud, but we haven't had any trouble falling asleep or sleeping

This unit is powerful, albeit a little noisy on it’s highest setting. Can cool a 180sq ft room by a few degrees within 15 minutes.

The air conditioner was purchased by me for a friend. She absolutely loves it and has made her room so comfortable in this California heat. Uses the remote to set it to go on and off. Very efficient. Also easy to install.

Works great for my daughter’s second story room and keeps the entire floor comfortable for the kids. Quiet enough for her to sleep without issue.

Purchased this for my Mom who lives in assisted living. Dropped it off for her so that maintenance could install it. She told me that she has gotten many compliments at how the front looks. Western NY has had warmer that expected weather in late May into June, and it has worked beautifully on those days. Her room is about 240 sf and this fits it just right! She is very pleased with this air conditioner.

Needed a very small AC unit for a fairly large area as the only window that it could be used in is very small. Though small this unit puts out all the cooling power of a much larger unit and adequately does the job. My only complaint, not the fault of the product, is that Best Buy Curbside Pickup is awful. I was instructed to call the store upon arrival but they did not answer their phone. After several tries I attempted to enter the store to retrieve the product but the woman at the door refused me entry because she couldn't find the order on her computer. I was forced to enter while she yelled she was going to call the cops. I approached another employee who easily found the order and delivered it to my car. Some people are just completely incompetent. She should be fired for her stupidity and obnoxious behavior.

The air conditioner was a breeze in setting up. The instructions were easy to follow. The unit was a bit noisy for me at first. But other a good purchase overall.

I was so glad to get this GE AC during the hot summer,it was hot and dry and this cooled the room great,its not too larger or too heavy and as long as you follow the recommended sq ft size you should be chilled..GE provides dependable and reasonably priced products.I trust tehm.

EASY TO INSTALL, COOLS FAST AND CONVIENT BECAUSE IT HAS A CONTROL

Have not had the opportunity to use this new unit, but went into the window easily, and no problems. Weights a lot less then the a/c it is replacing. Had major problem at the store purchasing this unit. I did not have my best buy card in my wallet. So gave the associate my drivers lic and punched my ss# into the machine, for validation tna to protect me Associate had no clue what he was doing and I punched my ss# into the machine 3-4 times. Finally left the store and put unit in. I ran a credit check which I do at least once a week, and discovered that the store representative ran a "hard inquiry on my account" My credit score took a hit but I did not give it much thought. About 5 days later received a letter declining my getting a Best Buy credit card, since I already had a card, and they do not allow a person to have to separate accounts. Went into the store that I purchased the a/c spoke to the Manager Brenden and explained what happened and he was going to speak to the store representative that took care of me.

I purchased it on sale. It worked great for 2 weeks. Cooling goes down later on. It was loud. Easy to Install, remote worked well. Average rating.
