I was a bit skeptical after reading other reviews. However, this has definitely proven itself. It helps to supplement my living room unit, and unlike that one, actually turns off once in awhile. Even if it ends up not working, I've gotten my money's worth in just a little over a month. 10/10 for price and easy installation!

It gets my livingroom cold, thats about it. I used fans to spread the cold air through my small 1 bed apartment. The biggest downside is that in less than 2 weeks i already have to replace the filter, which means i got it dirty already. It was also really difficult to get together, as the instructions were not clear. If you have an option to get a better one, do it.

In my experience is a really good AC not noisy easy to install , it gets very cold , i totally recommend it

Product was easy to purchase with great assistance loading them. They appear to be well bit and run quietly. They are lightweight which made installation easier.

Great little unit. I bought this unit for Daughter. She lives in a smaller rental home and the existing unit was old and not performing. I made sure I verified that the square footage matched the rating and now she has great performance and yet lower power consumption.

I am very happy with his purchase...it is easy to hand manage buttons as well as having a remote which I do not use. It is quiet enough for me in my bedroom and has easily kept the temperature in the 60's to 70's during our 100 _ degree days. I just bought it not quite a month ago so I cannot speak to it's longevity but with geek squad protection I am happy.

Very good air conditioner for a small room. Only negative is reinstalling the filter after its cleaned.

Perfect for medium sized bedroom. Installation at ease not so heavy lifting.

So! We live in a brick building. In the summer, it gets idiotically hot. Cook things on surfaces hot. We normally have a huge old Emerson that thunderously cools everything, but I needed to replace the motor so.... Enter this little GE unit. It's actually quite good, with one annoying flaw - the internals of the unit are translucent. So, while it does a great job keeping things cool, and runs very, very nicely, the moment the sun hits it in the morning, it glows through the vents. And by 'glow', I mean, you'll actually wake up from the sunlight coming through. Doesn't affect its cooling, but I need it to be dark when I'm sleeping. Having a 4:30AM sunrise in the apartment isn't so good for getting a good night's sleep.

For a small 6000 BTU unit, it keeps things cool. It's light-weight and installed in minutes. The temperature control and various functions all done with a remote are perfect. The design is nice and it runs quietly.

This is a good unit. It cools the room effectively and runs quietly. It was relatively easy to install. I am enjoying a nicely air conditioned room.

Little loud but does the job, remote is useful. Bad eyesight makes it hard to know what setting I just changed it to so I had to remember it.

Very Light for its size Standard Remote control with batteries. Cools off bedroom in no time.

This AC unit has been a workhorse this summer cooling down a small bedroom. The installation was quick and easy. However I did need to augment the gasket with some foam pipe insulation to get a better air seal underneath. But, every window will be different.

Had approx 2 weeks. Small unit. Does exactly what it needs to although the 250sq ft rating isn't right It cooled a 130 Sq ft room fine but not a 192 sq room. Sees daily use for about 6 hours in wifes craft room where she has to have things at reasonable temperature. Had to rearrange a couple of units to adjust. Light weight so 2nd story windows not a problem. Installation kit pretty standard. About 50 db at 5' away (specs say 61 but not how far away). Her tv is louder than this thing. Electricity usage is spot on. Shame about the sq ft though as this uses less electricity than my portable one that was in the larger room

Great price and nice and light. I’m a small woman and was able to install it myself. Has worked great so far for a small room. Even the fan option keeps me nice and cool without using all the electricity.

In an 11'x20' room with high ceiling. Cools room well with and without ceiling fan on. Timer is a great feature. Coolness extends a bit through door to adjoining room. Wish it were a bit quieter though.

Features are nice and remote control is handy. The air is more on the cooler side NOT cold. The BTU is actually less because it’s not the DOE (Department of Energy’s) new calculations of BTU’s which calculate the amount of heat the unit produces, which in turn affects the cooling output. It’s actually around 3,500 BTU’s. So for the price I’d just spend a couple hundred more dollars and get a better unit with higher BTU’s. This does not actually cool the entire 350 square foot area more just not have it so hot. Don’t regret the purchase but would buy different next time.

Works exactly as it should. Very simple install as long as you have the required tools. Cooled my bedroom 15-20 degrees cooler than the rest of the house when it was over 100 degrees outside.

Great air conditioner for our Master Suite including walk-in closet and bathroom. With door to hallway closed it cools the whole area down quickly and with this hot weather has made it very comfortable to sleep. Very easy to put together and install.
