This AC kept a small room cool on the hot summer days, but it was noisy. This might help cool things down, wouldn't recommend it for a bedroom though. I had to return it. It was a cheaper option than most, but I have an older model (cheap end at that time too) that was quieter.

My last ac lasted 15 years and then I passed it on to my daughter. She's still enjoying cool where this one is self destructing. I bought 2 of these one a larger capacity. Because I thought GE was a good American company. The first one the larger started turning itself of and would not stay running for more than a few seconds. This after not even a month. Best Buy where I bought it told me the only have a 15 day warranty, the manufacturer say's if it breaks or something is wrong then bring it back to the retailer you bought it from for replacement. After over an hour waiting on hold at best buy on my phone The lazy manager finally decided to replace it. But they didn't have any in stock so I would have to wait to see if they received any more. So I decided to take this one and took it home. Now I have two smaller ac units to cool my house. So in the middle of a hot night the fan in the original one decided to fall apart creating a terrible noise and waking my wife and I up. I pulled the air filter out in the morning and found the fan in pieces I turned it back on and am running it but who knows for how long. I wished I bought a different brand. I don't want to go back to best buy because the store I went to the manager is a lazy non customer service person. He forgets the customer pays his salary. Maybe when he's looking for his next job he'll understand customer service a little more.

Seems to be doing a lot better job then my old window unit also it’s smaller in size so it makes it lighter and easier to move around.

This 6000 BTU when 1st connected was kinda loud, but after running it for a bit quieted down. It worked through some 95F degrees successfully. Kept room cool.

I got a good deal with the price drop.Set up the unit in about 45 minutes. Am happy with the abilty to cool large bedrooms and hall.

Easy to set up and into the window.. a little louder than I would like, but have gotten used to it.

It was hard for us to find an AC small enough to fit our window. This one fit perfectly and cools the room well. Also much quieter than our old one was.

Runs great, with easy to use controls and pretty effective at cooling my bedroom. It's generally better for smaller places but it gets the job done!

Bought 2 of these for my kid’s rooms. They get plenty cold, but the only reason it’s not 5 star is because they can be a bit noisy.

I like the ac cools small room fairly quick, but is kinda noisy. For the price though can’t really complain

Easy install and works very well for my 192 sq ft bedroom.

This is a redesign (holes in front instead of slats).It is much quieter than the later model. Output is still the same. It is small and easy to install.

It’s really nice. The installation was really easy. It keeps my small room cold. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn’t go to 60 degrees. The lowest you can go is 64. It just messes with my head. But other than that I recommend it.

A good air conditioner for it's size and price. Works well.

This AC unit, while compact, can easily cool down a medium-sized room. It comes complete with a remote (a must-have - especially for those whom like myself run a business). It features an easily-cleaned filter, digital readout & a simple interface. Highly-Recommended

Awesome product. We have three of these in our home. They really pump out cool air and are very easy to use. Remote control is simple.

I love this! It is just what I needed and wanted. It looks good, it's quiet, and the remote is very nice. It's also great that I can program it. The installation was easy too. Very happy with this!

Strong fan and cools room quickly. Compact and not too heavy, so easier to install.
