The GE 6,000 BTU Air Conditioner is working just as I hoped it would. The Remote was a surprise and really makes thing much easier. Very Happy with my purchase.

Very nice quiet unit that does a great job cooling a large room. I appreciate the energy-saving feature. It will shut off when the room is cooled down so it keeps it a reasonable temperature and is less expensive to run.

AC works great and nice low price too. I also like the easy to use remote

This AC is very powerful, it cools my bedroom very quickly. It is also very quiet so I don't hear a lot of noise when I sleep or watch TV. Best buy delivered the next day to me and it was so easy to install because my teenage son put in up on the the window in less than 10 minutes. Most of all it was on sale and I saved about $70.00 off.

Ac seem to be working fine however I bought two and haven't used yet the installation was fairly the simple type standard and the cooling has been sufficient

Unit provides adequate cooling but fan motor is loud. Noisier than other windows units I previously owned.

Solid small AC, wish it would use the app. cold air

Just what the summer heat ordered. Keeps our bedroom perfectly cool and the auto setting makes sure it doesn’t run 24/7. 100% worth spending a little more on these units to get the digital thermostat. Only thing with this unit was that the foam insulation was not the sticky style, which seems like such a weird thing to cheap out on but not enough to take away a star.

It is ok I think the room I am in is too big for it probably should have gotten a 8k BTU. Shouldn't have cheaped out and gotten a slightly bigger one. It's in the guest bedroom of my home it gets the humidity out but doesn't cool the room as well as I would like. I do not like that the direction of the air can not be moved up and down just left to right.

cools medium size room rather quickly. We originally had it installed in a large room but was only ok in cooling down the area. The GE units work quite well as this is my second purchase.

Small and easy to install, great for small room size

We bought two of these, and to be honest we are shocked that it has such good reviews. First this is the only air conditioner that resets back to the default settings once turned off, we've never had that with any other air conditioner, not a huge deal, but now for the biggest issue with this air conditioner. We set the temperature for 74, we always use that temperature no matter what air conditioner we've had. This one will not hold the temperature at 74, it kicks on and runs til room hits 71, then the compressor shuts off until the room hits 77. We've have plenty of ac's and all of them have held the room at 74, no colder no warmer. It doesn't matter if we use the eco setting, or regular cool. That's a big span in temperature for the room, and it gets uncomfortable.

Amazing, cools down a two bedroom apartment no problem, i have two other ones that i do not need to use, since this one is very powerful

I have this in my upstairs apartment. The thing tuns strong and consistent. The setup was slightly tricky but after a hiccup it was simple. Will definitely consider getting another one of these when my other window goes.
