This unit is not as quiet as others I had used before, but it does cool the room.

Works great! Powerful enough to cool the front portion of our small apartment.

bought this unit in May 2023 for a medium size bedroom, only runs at night while sleeping, worked well for that summer season. Plugged into a surge protector when in use and unplugged during the day, kept in the original box with plastic wrap during the winter to keep clean - just put the unit in the window for this year and after 2 nights it crapped out - getting 88 code and immediately turns off - did some research and found it is the circuit board - very disappointed in this purchase

This is a good little AC so far. I use it in my 8 x 16 shed and it does a pretty good job. I have insulated my shed but it is metal on the outside, so it has a challenge.

Decent unit for the price. I wish the air vent could be moved up or down to help direct the airflow better. Its cools the room it is in just fine though.

My son was always complaining about how hot it was in our house when the rest of us were comfortable so we installed this GE 6000 BTU air conditioner in his room and he hasn't complained since. Easy installation and much cheaper to run than our whole house air conditioner.

I purchased two of these units and had Best Buy install them. What I like best about them is that they are fairly quiet and light weight. They’re also much lighter than other brands that are 6000btu’s. I enjoy the GE brand of products the best and do recommend this unit. I plan to buy at least 1-2 more for my home.

My central air broke down. I couldn’t get it fixed immediately so I purchased a window unit for the bedroom. It worked great! I only used it 3 days but feel better keeping it around for future mishaps. I even offered it to my neighbors if they’re ever in need of it temporarily.

This is one of the best coldest ac units i ever bought. There is only one thing i wish were different and that is to be able to move the airflow up and down as well. Right now you can only turn the vent side to side. But that is super minor compared to all the other features.

Bang on the price. I have been using it for 2 years and it helps me keep cool during summer. If you looking to get an AC for a single room. This is it.

I read a bunch of reviews going into this. People who said that this is "quiet" aren't using it for a bedroom. I get it, ACs are not generally quiet but I bought this one to replace the $100 Ocean Breeze no name analog AC I had because I had an expectation that an AC which is represented as quiet and twice the price should be better. Well, I was wrong. Not only is it much louder, the air that comes out isn't even decently cold. The temperature control isn't remotely accurate. It says 64 in my room which is about 150sq and its off by quite a bit. This is a problem because you control the temp of it's output by setting a target temp. Maybe this is the problem. Either way, I'm unhappy with this purchase and will turn elsewhere for my appliances from now on.

I replaced the first one due to the styrofoam internal housing had a gap and a bug snuck in. That is how I found out and went and exchanged. The shipment they had received maybe been dropped to cause the styrofoam housing to show a small 3" gap to lose seal. Went to Best Buy exchanged for same as this A/C cools fast.

This air conditioner works very good. It has been an unbearably hot summer this year. This unit really helpers cool the upstairs, although it was only bought for one room.

Easy to install and is perfect for my kid's bedroom.

It does what it's supposed to do! It cools the room quickly. Has a quiet sound and does not interfere with TV. What else is there to say. It does what it's suppose to.

I returned the 5000 BTU and got this instead. Very happy with it. Works great. Mostly running on Eco mode with Low fan speed. Still it makes our room chilled very quickly.

Good product, it keeps my room fresh and even when its too hot it cools really fast, it doesn't make too much sound which is great, the one I had before was too noisy

Not too bad does the job. Get what you pay for. But no issues so that’s great
