I loaded it into window and insulated around it. I waited 24 hours to plug it in- as it got jostled around a bit. Works great- no complaints. We don’t really use the remote, just put that in a drawer.

This has been perfect for my small (approximately 15 x 20 foot) bedroom. No problems at all with it and this is my third (scorching hot & high winds) season using it.

Perfect for 9x12 with 15 foot ceiling

This unit is great for the room size, its an ice box. I like GE and this AC does its job great.
