It doesn't get my bedroom cooled down much, & it is a bit loud. However, I feel the humidity has been extreme. So this may have a factor in it performance. Thank You.

This is a great small air conditioner. Works great, and cooled the room not long after it was installed.

His room gets down to 60° which he absolutely loves. Easy install and cooled his room down very quickly.

Plus, BB delivered and installed the unit in our 2nd story window after I joined their BB Club for a nominal fee (less than pricier stores’ delivery charge) which sealed the deal. In addition, the Club includes free service plus deals and free Geek Squad installation on any new appliances or electronics I may purchase for the next year.

I replaced a 5000 BTU Hauier that worked awesomely for five years. I thought by getting a GE that it would get the job done but that isn't the case. It was easy to install, it's quiet, and I like that it has a remote.

First, we recommend making sure the unit is sized right for the room. If the space is too big or too small, the air conditioner will not cool efficiently. Also, make sure the filter is cleaned regularly and windows and doors to the room are kept closed.

Definately not powerful enough for more than a medium sized room, but it serves its purpose for our needs. Definately would suggest.

Not sure what it is, I have to turn it off, let it sit for a few hours, and restart it. I need to return it, if possible.
