A little Loud but it does cool off the room really quickly

My room is avg size, and this does more than enough to keep it freezing in here!

I gave the small measurements to staff, and received the perfect size to cooler my kitchen and dining room.

This air conditioner does an excellent job! Very efficient and keeps a large 25 x 15 room cool. The programability is great because it doesn’t run all the time, just when you want it to.

Small windows in our raised ranch, still need ac for the rooms down there, powerful and pretty quiet overall happy with it

I deeply regret deciding to buy this air conditioner. As a 48 yr old lady living alone, I had to pay a handyman to install it in my bedroom window. It was drilled and screwed in according to the instructions. Turned it on as soon as it was in place and left it running all night while I slept. Ran fine with no problems. Turned it off in the morning when I went to work. Turned it back on in the evening to start cooling my bedroom and it was rattling like crazy!! I looked inside through the various vents and louvres and the whole interior appears to be made of pieces of styrofoam that do not fit together well. The rattling seems to be caused by the air blowing through the gaps between the styrofoam and the styrofoam pieces shifting around. Way too loud for me to be able to sleep through. And I can't simply return it because of all the holes/screws that are now in my window. Plus the price that I paid to have it installed is wasted and would have to pay again to have this one removed and another installed. I complained to GE and have received NO response. Save yourself a lot of headaches and buy either a higher quality window a/c or a portable a/c (which, in hindsight, is what I wish I would have done).

Seems to work well in a smaller room. Really cool air and not very loud. Good purchase.

This unit certainly blows cold air but 250 ft2 is definitely an overstatement of ability. I’d say 150-200 would be a more reasonable estimate of cooling ability. And it’s really loud. Not a bad product just noisy and overrated as far as realistic capabilities. Side guards for unit are cheap.

Really does the job well. Keeps the room cool. No problems, so far.
