This one has a nice. modern design. Easy to clean the filter. Cons are the controls seem to rely mostly on remote.

Our home AC went out during the hottest days this year and we were desperate. It took a while to cool everything in our bedroom off because it was so hot, but once it did, everything was comfortable and cool. We’ve since had our home AC fixed, but we still use our window AC. It works better than those larger floor model AC units. Great buy!

Initially concerned that I wouldn't find another window unit as quiet and efficient as the LG, I was delightfully pleased by the GE unit's ability to cool a larger bedroom enhanced by central air conditioning. On the hottest days the unit keeps the room comfortable, even on the ECO medium setting. The "clean the filter" indicator light on the front panel is a great feature and the filter slides out easily from the side of the panel. Two thumbs up to GE!
