After a thorough search online for specific induction ranges with a convection oven, I settled on this model after a price reduction to ~$2700. So far this product has operated flawlessly, both the induction features of the burners (I never had the "nearly instant boil" experience prior!) and a great convection feature for even heating within the oven space. I've been cooking bread daily for the past month or so, and have had no problems with the oven heating and retaining that heat, and while a bit slow to reach the upper temps, it maintains temps evenly and returns to the set temp quickly if the door has been opened. I also added a baking stone to the bottom rack, which allows me to bake bare on its surface. I've also used the "proofing" setting for the oven, which maintains a fairly constant high 70's to low 80's temperature, which is good for warm proofing doughs and encouraging the critters! The one feature I would love on this oven is steam generating. To overcome this, I put a small baking tray filled with river pebbles and rocks and maybe 400 or 500 grams of water, which generates a bit of steam for baking breads. I've not tried any of the probe features for either the range top or the oven. The electronics and touch controls to this point have functioned perfectly - albeit without testing the precision cooking feature or pobes. The forward control panel is a nice feature as well, and means no reaching over the stove top to make adjustments to temperatures or other controls. In the "I wished they would have thought about this more" department: *The stove top levels up or down to match the counter surfaces adjacent by turning the leveling feet at the base front and back. These -like most appliances-are nearly impossible to get at without pulling the unit out first, making the process very difficult to accomplish. *The escutcheons/trim around the top surface are dust and grime traps both front and back. This truly could have used a bit more thought considering how nice the appliance is, overall. Most of the cooking I'm currently doing is bread baking, and this oven has been marvelous so far! I can get two large dutch ovens on the rack at one time, or as many Items as I can place on the baking stone. I've noted the oven does a great job of heating when fully loaded, and has no problem maintaining the proper heat setting. Something else I accidently discovered - and to my delight - is that induction works through silicone! Meaning, I can put a silicone pad down on an element, set my magnetic pot on the pad, and still get induction heating without surface scratches to the glass top. Super!! I now have silicone pads for each burner to prevent pot-scratches and still cook on them! Nice! Admittedly I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase of ownership, but it has been a great experience so far, and if the quality holds up to my use and demands, will be a one-time purchase for the rest of my life!

Don't be a fool like me. I bought all GE products. I was told they were one of the best. Guess what? I've had 2 washing machines waiting on a third my stove. That cost a fortune is broke and they haven't even said they were going to fix it and my microwave. This will be my third, the first to burnt the service technicians as they were taking them out of my house, they were so hot. Supposedly, they have shorts. So when you read this review, g e will not back up their own warranty, they have not called or anything else. All they did is send some appliance guy out here, and he says, can't fix it.They'll send you a new one in 7 2 ten days don't be treated like me. I wished I could find a good consumer attorney to take on this case. 'cause GE is selling broke junk, thank yo

Do not buy. I purchased this very expensive stove less than a year ago and it is rusting already. The response that I received from their customer service was less than satisfactory. They suggested I clean it with glass cleaner or buy a replacement part for 50% off. Unbelieveable.

Works fine for our needs. Love the induction cooktop which is fast and maintains heat at a near constant. The fast heat up of the air fry oven is very nice as well. We also really like the control panel position, which is very convenient. Downsides include the controls are inconsistent. Sometimes you touch the temperature ring and it responds correctly and other times you have to use the plus and minus buttons to affect change. The only way the stainless steel is finger print resistant is if you are wearing gloves.

Going from gas to electric wasn’t my first choice. After six weeks of medium use, I would never go back to gas. That’s how amazing this range is! Convection baking and cooking is perfect; the induction range top boils water faster than I thought; doesn’t heat up the house; sears steak in cast iron like a champ; heat control is immediate as gas to avoid spillover; cleanup is a breeze and always looks sleek and shiny. If you are on the fence on whether or not this will meet your needs akin to gas cooking you will be extremely surprised how responsive and efficient this range is. I have not used the probe yet, but that’s next and can’t wait to try it. The air fryer crisped up chicken thighs and wings to juicy/crispy perfection . I wasn’t sure I’d use the app and remote functions, but found it to be handy if I know I’m grocery shopping and need to hear the oven for a quick pizza or a ready made meal. The warming function on stove top is useful. The ONLY negative is large pot cooking on all burners. This size range can get small if you’re cooking large batches of food in larger size pots, but it all somehow works out. I’d buy this range again no hesitation and would highly recommend.

    Excellent core functionality, some annoyances.

This does everything my old, dying, range did—basic stove and oven stuff—and does them better. For that reason I am a satisfied customer. The extra bits, like the app integration and the air frier functionality, have some issues. It really bugs me that some functions are dependent on a Wi-Fi connection. I have reluctantly connected the device to my home network, and all the functions now work, but the default display still says “this function requires a Wi-Fi connection.” No idea which function it’s talking about because it is connected and everything I select works. Silver lining: the annoying display helps me remember to lock the controls when I am not using it so maybe that’s a feature…

This is not a cheap item but is well worth the price. it appears to be very well made. There is a learning curve to using an induction cook top, but once mastered, it heats evenly and quickly and you can control the heat as fast, and even more accurately than with a gas cook top. The oven has a terrific convection bake setting, and the air fryer works well.

Our first new stove in 30 years! So nice and the speed of it is great. No handles is great as well, oven seems to cook a little faster on the regular cycle. We have not used convection cooking or air fry yet but am sure it will be great. Induction is so nice hope to never have coils again. Recommend this stove to everyone.

It looks nice. Well the picture looks nice anyway. Still on backorder. But Best Buy wanted me to review it now. I wish they were as interested in getting me the stove as they are with wanting me to review it. They also send me lots of emails wanting me to some more of their stuff. I have enough stuff. What I really want is that stove I paid for months ago.

I love this stove!!!! I am a professional cook and I was unsure of making the switch from gas to induction. I have cooked with gas most of my life. After almost a month with this stove I will never cook on a gas range again. The heat is so precise and I love the option to connect the burners. Breakfast is great again!!!! The airfryer is AWESOME!!!! I bring chicken home from the restaurant and air fry it up and it is fantastic. I am excited to use the probe an air fry a Turkey. The stovetop is so much easier to clean and keep clean than the grill grates from the gas stovetop. If you are thinking of making the switch and are nervous about it, do not be. It is a dream oven.

This is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. The stove functions well and is aesthetically pleasing. But I am writing this review not only to extol its virtues but to express my appreciation to Best Buy for its service. Because I was uncertain whether the slide in range would fit in the my kitchen cut out, I went to Best Buy to consult with their staff. Staff arranged a team to come out to my home for no charge to measure the space so that I could purchase the range knowing that there would be no problem with the installation. When the range arrived there was a defect with the warming drawer. The tech sent out to see to the repair (Connor from the Bay Area Geek Squad) provided me with excellent advice and service. Ultimately, I had to return and exchange the range. Wayne from North Carolina made the return and exchange a much less stressful experience than it might have been. I am singling out these two employees for praise because I did face some frustrations trying to work through repair, return and exchange, with other employees on the help line. I will be returning to Best Buy for my future purchases because these two excellent employees provided such thoughtful service.

Gas (or frankly better) performance w/o the fumes. This cooktop and oven are top notch! Melt and boil faster than any cooktop type. Butter will begin to melt in about 1-2 seconds. Water will begin to boil in a similar amount of time. Gas is SLOWER. A legacy electric cooktop (glass covered or otherwise) doesn’t even come close. Controls are easy to use and comprehensive. The oven is also top notch. Large chamber. TONS of functionality. …and a storage drawer on the bottom to top things off.

I love this oven. It doesn't use any propane so the air in my house is cleaner. It heats up water really quickly and cooks things evenly. I expect this to be a buy it for life purchase as we use less fossil fuels. The BB installation, however was botched. The guys delivered ready to install a gas stove, BB charged me for the gas installation kit and the people that delivered didn't know how to install an induction oven. Now I'm stuck with an installation kit that I don't need.

We have had an induction stove for years and purchased a new one when we moved to a different home. We tried cooking on the gas range that was in the new place, but we didn't like the smell of the gas and our cat could turn on the burners when he walked on them. Not a good combination! But aside from that safety issue, we just wanted to return to induction cooking. It heats quickly. You have great temperature control. We love a convection oven. And there are more features we have yet to try. Induction cooking is a game changer.
