Makes ice just like Sonic ice, the good kind. The ice machine works great, been using it over a month with no problems, and we’ve never ran out of ice. Worth it!

It makes horrendous noises from worn out bushing. This causes rubbing and metal shaving inside the auger. The shavings end up in the ice, turning the ice black.

I can get ice easily and it is fairly quiet. I had a prior ice maker that was making a lot of noise. This one you hear little pitter pats but nothing loud. Must have if you love pebble ice
