We had the amazon ring doorbell before this and this one is 100 times better. It has a great view and great video quality compared to the ring doorbell. I like that it connected easily to my google home account and synced up well with my other smart google products. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

I purchased the 2nd gen Nest doorbell to replace my original Nest doorbell. The appearance and functionality have been improved as well as the video quality and installation was easy.

Top quality doorbell, pic quality is great. The setup is extremely simple with the google home application and it wired up to my new transformer and works with all the old doorchimes as well as the new one included in the box. It works best if you have google smart home devices all around your home, since it pings you on your google home/nest/dots/any smart audio home device. Only complaint might be that it looks a bit too high end from the street. I am worried someone might mask up and steal it.

It was really easy to install, even though my siding is weird. Had it up and running in no time. Really great picture and video as well

Extremely happy with the purchase, it includes free limited event recordings up to 3 hours total I believe, which is more than enough for my needs. I bought the excellent condition open box product and saved something like $80 by doing so, and I would never know it wasn't a brand new device. Condition was perfect, and all the parts and packaging were in the box and like new. This doorbell is miles ahead of my last video doorbell which was a piece of junk that came with my house. Would especially recommend this one if you have other Google home devices, as it can notify you of visitors via Google speakers and you can view the feed on a Google Home Hub when someone rings the doorbell. Don't sleep on the open box offers either! I don't know if I would do any lower than excellent condition just to ensure you get all the hardware and whatnot, but I saved a bunch of money and it appears to be brand new.

Works great and installation/setup was understandable and easy to follow. Love seeing who is at the door and seeing the history.

This is a very good video doorbell. I had the previous generation wired doorbell and upgraded to this one. I much prefer the aspect ratio of the video feed on this one. The viewing area is taller and lower to the ground and not as wide. This is better for me since I can view the ground and see any delivered packages now (I previously couldnt see them). It also allows you to view people’s faces better. Installation was about as easy as in can get for this device, however I still dont like that you have to use a chime adapter. The battery version of this doorbell works with your existing cime with no adapter. Not sure why this version couldn’t do the same. The main reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because Google pushed out a firmware update that made the video blurry, especially at night. They still havent fixed it and the video looks kind of rough. I hope Google fixes soon (they say there is a fix coming so we will see). Otherwise, this is the best doorbell I’ve had.

I like it so much better then the battery google door bell that was good but a pain to charge the battery and also the gen two wired door bell it has a much better camera which now I can view my door bell and my other nest cameras on my Mac Book with the Google Home for the web which to me is a big change needed and not have to just use the Google Home app. or the nest on my Mac Book which I could not see the door bell.

I bought the wired Nest doorbell. Setup was easy. It worked with my existing chime. No extra hardware required. It came with the screws and other installation kit. Video clarity is good. Notification are great. I wish it came with the black plate to cover any holes and wires behind. But there are plenty back plate options available online.

Works really well. If you buy the subscription you will grt 90 days of interrupted video surveillance

The wired doorbell is pretty great. Good video quality and is an upgrade from the older model. My issue is mainly with Google and their Google Home app and software experience overall. It hasn't improved in years and is extremely buggy. Someone rings the doorbell and it just spins or stays dark forever. By the time it works, the person is gone or inside the house. The Google Home experience has been so bad since they switched from the Nest App that I pivoted away from their products for my new house.

Works better than expected. Easy to install. Nice clear video and ability to zoom does not lose image quality. I prefer the north south viewing area as compared to competitors who focus on East/west view.

Great doorbell camera works during the day and at night without issue. And since it’s outside some people shouldn’t have to worry about Google spying on them since that seems to be a topic of concern for a lot of people. It’s also easy to setup.

Bought this to replace my first generation Nest doorbell. I like the looks of the new one. Price is reasonable but a bit higher than some of the competitors. All the same features from my first one. Setup is pretty straight forward. Took me longer to mount it than set it up. Good camera and I'm overall happy with it.

This is a nice upgrade to the original Nest camera. Picture/videos are more clear. Notifications seem to be more accurate. I have the nest ecosystem so the camera synced easily! I would recommend this doorbell camera.

This doorbell is fabulous, it notifies me, it records me and lets me know everything that happens at the door of my house. I recommend it 100%
