However, for some reason, I keep losing the connection to the app, and then I have to go through the whole process of reconnecting it. Also, the plus subscription is a bit expensive, but if you want a record of the activity the camera captures, go for it.

Great replacement for a standard doorbell

It was easy to install in place of the regular, original doorbell. It was paired easily with the Google Home screen, allowing them to view who is at their door from multiple points in their home. The view has a great range at left, straight, and right angles.

Sometimes it seems a little too sensitive but great camera and microphone. I dont recommend getting an open box version as the one we did would not connect and some of the serial number information was crossed out on the instructions.

Openbox, Came fully like new and in 2 days. Installed in 10 mins, incl indoor chime which now works again. And added to existing google home\aware in 2 mins. Worthwhile upgrade. Better camera quality, albeot different aspect ratio, its fine. I'm already on google home \aware app anyway, as this 2nd gen does not do Nest, im fine with that, it works well with my other cameras on google Home A worthwhile upgrade for me. Good product and excellent shopping experience from bestbuy
