Much better than the old style thermostat. 100% certain that this saves us money. It is also is nice to turn up the heat from the phone when returning from travel, etc. Super easy to install if you have a quasi-modern house with heat and AC. I am having difficulty installing one in my other place that just has a boiler and a two wire thermostat. If you pull the cover off of your current thermostat, make sure you have a C wire that will power the nest.

Love my nest thermostat. Works with my 2 wire furnace. I like the design of this model better than the new one. I like how solid and well built it is. I can change my settings from anywhere I have cellphone service. Easy to program.

This is my second nest Thermostat 3rd generation. Nothing but positives things to say about it. Easy to install, works perfectly with google home. Looks great on your wall and it saves you money by creating schedules. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their thermostat.

Hands down the best thermostat I've used. We've had it for a little more than a month and it does change the way the house is cooled and controlled. Most thermostats I've used are very old with bare minimum features or just weird controls overall. The Nest is straightforward, sleek, and it feels like a solid device in the way it's constructed with a solid weight to it. The app makes it very easy to use and the ability to change the temperature without having to get up is game-changing. The Nest also learns what temp you like it and when. It starts to schedule itself based on your temp changes. Within about 2-3 weeks a schedule started setting and we only had to make 2 tweeks to the 'learned' schedule, otherwise it was spot on. Now we don't really think about the temp in the house. Would absolutely put it in the next house that doesn't have one.

I just love Google products like this. As a hardware, ease of use is great and I enjoy having the app functionality to go along with the hardware. Very easy to control the temperature of my house at the dial or using the Google Home app. I also have a lot of tracking data that I can utilize to better understand temperature control for my home. I think the only downside was the smart learning, which would essentially take into consideration of your manual settings and try to create a schedule based on those patterns. It ended up raising my electric/gas bill progressively until I realized what was happening. Other than that, great product!

I absolutely love everything about the Nest. Easy to install and easy to use app. Looks fancy and I have never had problems with the internet connection. I have a Nest in my rental property which I have had for 4 years and never any problems!!

So glad I decided to go with nest. It learned my desired temperature and adjust automatically! Control from my phone so that I could turn air down or heat up when I'm leaving work and it's nice and cozy when I walk in. My dog is home all day, so I did set my eco settings to the best suited for her. I love the control I have. The auto heat or cool is also a great setting. I live in east Tennessee and for a week or two it was freezing at night and miserably hot during the day! It was also so easy to install! Pay attention though if you have a heat pump. You'll need to use the heat pump wire set up.

Easy to install, if you use Google's compatibility test first on their website. If it says it's good, then installing it is as simple as following the app. I've started constantly checking the temperature and found the temperatures spike throughout the place at various time, helped me narrow down lack of insulation in the attic by room. I recommend buying several of the thermostat puck things to place around the house. Just so you can use the Nest app to check those room's temp and turn on the air/heat for where you are, not the hallway your thermostat is likely to be.

Having a smart thermostat just makes sense. The Nest also just looks cool and is easy to use. You go away for a weekend, turn off your system and hit cool or heat as you come into town...smart way to conserve energy and save money. Plus, we got a $75 check from the power company for buying an energy saving device, so it made it more affordable. The integration between Nest products and Google Home is also getting a lot better.

Love this thing. I upgraded the original 1993 thermostat in my house that is actually controlling my geothermal unit. I was told that the Nest would not work however after a little research and the peace of mind knowing I could return the Nest if it didn't work I gave it a try.....boy am I glad I did. The ability to control things on the go is VERY nice and I love the way it looks. Honestly I don't really like the "learning" function of this device but that was very easy to turn off and I'm really liking everything else about this device.

Absolutely love this Nest device, can control everything from my phone while away, it can automatically help you save money during peak times. When you buy one it will also save you money on your bill with an eligible utility company.

The thermostat is a great add for any smart home. It can be adjusted anywhere and you can get a schedule that is comfortable for you without a lot of interaction with the device. It even can detect when you are away and turn itself off automatically. A little pricey but a good buy for your smart home needs.

This is a great product and I was able to pick it up at a pretty unbeatable price. Super easy to use and the setup took only about 20 minutes. I love all of the features and the app allows you to make adjustments if you don't have the automatic preferences selected or need to make a change. It is great how the thermostat learns when you are typically home or away and anticipates this by making adjustments to the home temperature in advance. I highly recommend this product based on all of the features and ease of use.

It might sound lazy, but I got tired of having to get up every 1.5 hours to adjust the temperature in my home. This is a game changer since I can use Alexa or the app to control my indoor climate perfectly. It was easy to set up. I don’t know anything about HVAC so I called the customer service line and they walked me through the entire installation step by step. Very happy and cozy in my home with this purchase!
