One worked and the other stopped connecting to the internet after 9mos. I reached out to google sipport and after some trouble shooting they sent me one with a temp charge to my account saying if i ididint return the old thermostat i would be charged. The replacment did not work, even worst then the one which i had. It took some time to trouble shoot and i even hired an electrician in case i was doing it wrong. Conclusion was that this replacment was a refurbished thermostat. I asked Google for an extention to ensure i was able to fedex back on time and prior to the suspense date being completed they charged me $235 for the replacment that didnt wven work and i no longer had. Over $600 later plus the cost of an electrician and I WOULD NEVER BUY GOOGLE product again. What a scam !!!!!

I would recommend this to a friendDoesn't control A/C due to missing C wire

(Slave system for zone 2 connected to another master thermostat for zone 1) The Nest thermostat didn't work with the recommended wiring. Tech Support suggested to disconnect the A/C wire. Now I can heat, but the A/C doesn't work. I guess in summer I have to disconnect the heat wire, and connect the A/C wire , not very smart.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like all of the nice features like larger pixels and being able to see whether I'm in cooling across the room, but most importantly, I am reducing my energy consumption. Seems more effective than the previous thermostat at sensing and maintaining temperatures. I do not have sensors elsewhere in the house and floor plan is mostly open, except hallway and bedrooms, which are usually hot anyway.
