I love the fact that this thermostat really does save me money. However, I do not like contacting their customer service when the thermostat was not working correctly.

The Nest Thermometer allows for remote setting, monitoring and provides great info. A recent incident that was learned of through the Nest, prevented potential freezing damage of internal pipes. I have 2 Nest thermostat controls that provide terrific insight as to what is going on in my home.

Would recommend to anyone. Easy set up! Easy to use!

Works with my Amazon Echo making it even better!!!

It was between this and the Ecobee. Not sure why I chose this one but both my in-laws have it. So far working great.

Easy to use. I especially like the memory function.

It was great when it first came out, stylish and high-tech. In the meantime, the competition has caught up, so this is overpriced and starts to feel old, but I got it anyway to match my other one. The learning feature is useless, imo.

We were ver frustrated with the product for quite some time as it didn't seem to learn our schedules well at all. But then we figured out that it does have a feature to set times and temps. So now we are using that and we like it much better. But that does take away from what separates this from a regular thermostat. So I don't know what to say about using it. Nice idea but...

it worked wonderfully for about 6 months. then a Wi-Fi chip broke. they changed the product more unfortunately the new one does not mark the right room temperature. I will have to ask for another time to exchange it shouldn't give me so much trouble for the amount I paid

Nest is everything I expected. The setup was easy!

I love the nest products! Thank goodness I was able to purchase this one as my old one died on me. Only bad thing…for the cost …I only needed it for heat and not heat/ac

I bought the 3rd Generation Nest on Black Friday and I installed it couple of days later. The first two days all was great, it was really impressive. All of a sudden the device started displaying a W2 wiring error and shutting down randomly. We rechecked all the wiring and it just did not work. I took down the device and installed by old $30 thermostat back which worked like a charm! So obviously there was a defect in the wiring panel of the Nest. After spending 40 minutes with Nest support I was asked to install the defective Nest back so that they can troubleshoot it. No way I am doing this and putting my family in the cold again with a device that can possibly damage my 2nd stage heater. I wanted to give a Nest a second chance as defects do happen but my experience with their Customer support just persuaded me not to do so. I am returning the device and will never again consider a Nest product.

Beautuful and easy to use but itbis jsut too expensive in my opinion

I bought the thermostat 2 weeks a go and for looks its great but im still waiting the electricity bill to see if there are any savings.

This thermostat learns your schedule quickly and I never have to mess with it. It knows when I’m home and when I’m away. Works with Philips Hue flawlessly and turns lights off and on while away to mimic someone is home. Best investment I’ve made; even got a $70 rebate from AEP in less than 2 weeks!

If you have not updated to a home heat and AC monitoring system, you should consider it! This thing is amazing! So nice to have piece of mind, knowing your home is comfortable, and you can adjust whenever you connected to the net! Not to mention the fuel and cost savings!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I'm not sure if I like the nest thermostat yet. The temp that I set it at, is not accurate with the room temp. Have to wait and see if it learns.

Kinda disappointed. I thought they were universal but my old system wiring was not supported.
