This is such a good thermostat. Initially you have to take some time setting temps for a few weeks and then it consistently starts to keep the temp correctly at the appropriate times based on your comfort level. I'm buying these for a bunch of people. The gift that keeps on giving.

I bought one to help monitor my home while away at work & on vacation. It works wonderfully & was very easy to set up.

After a while it finds your habits and then it using a feature eco and it saves you big time money. When you leave or not around the house it conserves the energy it uses when your not around. And you can set it to certain temperature when you are home.

easy to install, just works. looks very attractive. Cons: does not have external temperature sensors like ecobee.

This exceptional thermostat has been great in the house. Learns very quickly and no headache of having to program. Yet you still can if you want. Knows when we’re home, when we’re not, when we’re sleeping, etc. Possibly that sounds intrusive but really is a money saver.

Nest makes it too hard to determine compatability ahead of time. Unfortunately, my thermostat could not be replaced with Nest. Returned for full refund.

This is a great tool to have to keep your energy bills down. It is so customize obal you can set it and then forget it. Works well with the Google home app and you get reports monthly about your usage. Also reminds you to change your air filter.

After having it for two years installed with a new hvac system; thermostat started failing and delaying and wouldn't turn hvac unit fan on to cool house Called nest support they made me switch wires around for them to say it was my Y wire and not the nest and needed to hire a tech to come check my hvac. I knew it wasn't the hvac my friend also had issues with his nest I went and bought an ecobee installed it and my hvac started working again. Tried contacting nest support and they are acting dumb and don't want to help

Terrible product. Worked for 4 weeks then stopped. I went through all the steps on the website and that resulted in the device no longer being able to connect to my WiFi. Followed again. Reset the device again. Now the device doesn’t even maintain the set temperature and has to be charged daily. What a rip off

This is the 2nd Nest I have for the other side of the house and they are the best smart home additon for anyone. The learning feature makes life that much easier as the temperature changes I make during the entire day are made automatically. They work great with the Xfinity home app as well.

Picked one up after reading reviews on line. works Well and I was able to get a $100 rebate from my utility company.

As indicated this is just an average but expensive thermostat (after the $50. price drop).

This item was returned because it was determined that additional wiring would be required in our house. This additional wiring would have been too difficult

Works, well, little difficulty installing. Did it myself and would not work. Contacted NEST and they stated to hire an electrician which I did. Problem was NEST needs a little more power than my old thermostat. Good thing was that NEST is reimbursing my $132.00 that I paid the electrician.

I purchased this thermostat based on reviews. Disappointed that there was not enough detail on the product page regarding compatibility. After effort to install, ultimately not compatible with our home though we did as much research as possible. The app for install simply states not compatible, but doesn’t give the reason why although we have a compatible system.

Nest Thermostat. The product is fine until it stops working. Good Luck getting any help from Customer Service based in Philippines. They will spend hours debugging with you and in the end will not honor the MFR Warranty. Stay away from Google Tech Support and their products.

The wifi connectivity is unreliable, if we haven't adjusted the temperature for a few days the nest thermostat loses wifi connectivity then I have to touch the nest, I go to settings and it automatically reconnects. It doesn't learn, it seems to be guessing at what we want, we turn nest to 76deg and it gets to temperature and resets to eco 71 degs. Nest works marginally better than the thermostat that it replaced. Knowing what I know now I would not buy it again.
