Nice to be able to control temps remotely. A little pricey but worth it.

Finally talked the wife into getting this. Have had it for one month and already seeing the benefits. Very easy to set up and manage via smartphone. Automatically saves energy while we're out of the house. Looking forward to seeing the long term benefits.

If I need to change the temperature in my house no matter where I am at. I can do it all with the touch of my phone. The nest knows when you aren't home and goes into ECO mode. I don't have to worry about changing anything when I leave.

Had an old thermostat that decide to give out, researched many different ones and decided on the Nest. Had a few people tell me they had some issues with them shutting off, but the more I looked into it those all seemed to be used errors.

The research Ive done says tis thing is the best. Havent installed yet, but looking forward to it...Christmas present

At this time, I've only just installed it, but so far so good. I had an issue with the wiring and after a quick chat, the rep sent me a schematic specific to my system. I must say, that's likely the best customer service experience I've ever had!!

Was not compatible with my home even though Google's compatibility checker said it was. It turns out there are 2% of homes in the south that this thermostat is not compatible with, but their compatability checker will not catch it.

Had the nest at my previous house. Could not resist getting it again. Very happy it.

Although this product is not a touch screen like the Honeywell thermostat I replaced it has even better features in my opinion. I like the farsight feature that turns the thermostat on with motion. Also the auto scheduling is a great feature too.

Got it on black friday. Got a sweet deal. Was bummed that total tech couldnt install it but its ok it was easy to install.

With my old thermostat, I would keep the house at 72 degrees and that was comfortable for us. Once I installed the Nest thermostat we've consistently keep the temp at 75 degrees. This thermostat is much more accurate. Strongly recommend it.

I ended up retyrning this. It is a nice set up but i didnt like that it would change the temp without me telling it to.

Good gadget to have it in your wall but quiet pricey

Difficult to control. Not easy to run in manual mode.

I love my nest!! Before I bought my nest my AC would run all day. After installing and setting it, it runs about half of what it use to. You will save more than you paid for this thing. Highly recommended buy for homeowners!!

The power kept turning off and we had to plug in everyday to charge. We liked it but ended up taking it back.

We wanted to like these. Unfortunately, they are nothing more than a giant pain in the rump. It is not possible to turn off the eco setting, so if my home’s temperature stays at 70 degrees for more than an hour or two, it drops the set temperature to 62 for eco reasons. Except it’s the middle of winter in northern Michigan. And no matter how many times we turn this setting off, it turns itself back on. We were much happier with the cheap digital thermostats that we had before.

I am not blown away by this. The learning feature is ok to begin with. You have to set a schedule if you want the house warm when you wake up or else freeze to death by the time it detects you are awake. The home away assist is not working as it should. So is it worth $199 I don't think so. It easy to use which I do like.

This thermostat keeps track of your a/c usage when we first installed it our a/c was running around 7hours a day and a week after learning mode took over our system went to running around 3 hours a day and it's still comfortable in the house

Love the Nest but having difficulty getting it set up with the radiant floor
