Works great. The learning feature is really helpful to understand the temperature requirements for different times and also lower the bill

I have it integrated with Amazon Alexa and Samsung Smartthings. Loving it. I didn't know it also had the ability to cycle my fans for 15 minutes every hour even if it wasn't heating or cooling just to keep the air moving. Love that feature.

Because of my new Carrier High Efficiency furnace I am stuck with their garbage thermostat that is worse than the old fashioned Honeywell dial. To use the great Nest I had to get rid of I would have had to get the next lower efficiency furnace. In the long run I would have been better getting the lower efficiency and use the Nest thermostat

This nest thermostat is amazing! Detects when we are away and goes into eco mode by itself, handles heat and cool without having to flip a switch, easily programmable and learn our schedule. Saves lots on heating and cooling! Only issue i have had is that it sometimes drops off the network and needs a full reset to get back on, so i have to set it up all over again from scratch.

It was okay. I don't really know how to use it and the tech lady on the phone wasn't very helpful!

I had to return this thermostat because I was annoyed in how long it takes to adjust the temperature. The weather has been changing drastically in where I live for the last two weeks and this thermostat will take 2+ hours to adjust few degrees. I literally had uninstall it in the middle of the night because our house was freezing.

I love the Nest. I always forget to turn the AC down when i leave, but i can do it easily thru the app. It's a life saver. I also like to look at the history to know how long the unit runs for to make sure all is running smoothly.

On the first day of purchase the only button that it has was dented in after few use. This has built in battery that requires charging when low. Get Ecobee 4 instead! no need to recharge battery and skip out on C wiring .

Love the fact that i can adjust this with my echo and that it is self learning

Big fan of nice products, don’t have to much to complain about Although I do wish nest what update some of the firmware This product runs on. That can sometimes be frustrating to deal with but overall good stuff.

Gets busy thermostating, awesomely learns all my wife’s “mood swings” which not only affect her state of mind and my well being. It also affects the temperature... she’s basically storm and this thing is the perfect amplifier.

We heard good things about the Nest thermostat from 2 separate friends. My wife and I are looking to lower our monthly costs, so we did some research and found that this unit will eventually pay for itself and THEN some, with the power bill savings. Installation was a breeze. I am definitely not an electrician, just an average guy, and I had it installed in probably 15-20 minutes. The electric box plate came in handy, and the included mounting plate looks so nice on our wall, we may not even paint it. The setup was easy, I linked it with our WiFi and then downloaded the app on my phone. After syncing my phone with the thermostat, I can adjust the house temperature from anywhere! This is really nice because there are 3 of us who live in the house, but 1 of us has really odd working hours which vary from day to day. It was always impossible to set a regular schedule on the thermostat and save energy costs. But now, as soon as I know everybody is out of the house I can use my phone to bring the heat down in the winter and start raking in those savings. Then when I'm on my way home in the evening, I can turn the heat up so my house is warm upon my arrival. You can set a minimum low temperature and a maximum high temperature, and the system will automatically switch back and forth between heat and Air Conditioning, to maintain your target temperature. This is handy on those fall days where the temperature is kinda cool but the sun warms your house above the usual temperature. So far I am very impressed with this product. It's aesthetically pleasing and modern-looking. The controls are simple...rotate the dial, and press the face until it clicks. The unit itself even saves energy by turning off the display when you're not in the room, or not moving. The motion sensor turns the display back on as you approach the unit. I highly recommend buying this.

We use two of these, one in our house, and one in our rental. We don't control the rental, but we do appreciate that the Nest tries to optimize the usage and recognizes when the tenant is not home and turns down the heat.

The Nest Thermostat is very useful by allowing you to see your energy consumption to improve and decrease energy usage. Also, being able to access and adjust the temperature via the internet is great.

Followed installation instructions. Device turned on heat but when the fan kicked in the call for heat stopped. Called support. Verdied wiring. Did a reset. Told me to contact hvac specialist. Nope, maybe if YOU paid for the hvac specialist you would fix your product. My advice, if u have a jumper from R to Rc then dont buy this. Its supposed to “detect” whether or not it needs to jump. Guess what?

used this as a smart home purchase and have been very happy with it.
