This is a great product, allows me to control the thermostat from anywhere and be able to see how long it will take to either cool or warm the house based on the changes i am making the setting.

I forgot I can set the temperature while I’m on my way home but I forget how smart it is I end up forgetting how useful it is but then I put the schedule so it’s warm before I get home

Love the integration between my Nest Thermostat and my Google Home. I haven't had the Thermostat installed long enough to realize any energy savings, but it was easy to install and simple to setup.

mostly wanted wifi thermostat to adjust temperature when we are out of town - want to come back to a warm house. So far it takes too long for the temperature to heat up to my comfort setting - I have called customer service and there suggestions haven't changed things. I turned off the auto schedule setting because I was cold all the time. I called nest and they told me to turn off eco setting. Expensive thermostat and so far I'm only using the programable setting and some mornings it is not at the desired temperature when I get up. Customer service said maybe it's because of the cold weather (high 20s) well I live in northern Michigan. What happens when it's below zero? I plan to call customer service again - at one point they said I may need the c- wire installed. If that's the case I will return it - not worth any additional cost - I only have a two wire system. I will update review if things get better

I purchased the nest learning thermostat and had an electrician come to my house. The electrician was installing the thermostats but after the old ones were taken down and one nest was installed we learned that they won't work with my heating and cooling system.

Setup was a pain but great item once setup is complete

The vacuum does well, but doesn’t pick up every drop. Wish it was more powerful.

The Nest keeps track of a lot of information about your A/C or furnace. The app is easy to use, it allows You can adjust anything you want on it from you phone or tablet.

I bought this for my son as a housewarming gift because I love ours so much. I love being able to control it via wifi and it has helped us save money on our gas and electric bills.

It seems simple enough, but it resets itself to what the installer programmed. I even tried updating the programming on my phone and it still resets itself. I know it's an adjustment but it's been a couple of months and it still resets at the weekend. No impressed so far.

Overall good but installation was not as easy as the demo shows. Had to do some research

This one of the best thermostat out in the market. Love the learning capability. It automatically goes to an economic mode when people are out if the house. Worth the amount spent.

Not often do I catch the attention of my kids. But this t-stat sure did. It’s smart, learns how you like your house AND saves you money on your bill. Win - Win!!!

This thermostat is all about the hype. Our home came with a Honewell Wifi Thermostat and over the black friday deals I decided to purchase a Nest Thermostat. I regret it, On the first day of installation Nest had a nationwide network outage that include many customers including ours. If I adjust the thermostat now, it takes a while for it to kick on. I'll be returning this thermostat today and probably just reinstall our Honeywell Wifi or purchasing a new Honeywell color screen. After reading reviews and blogs, I see other users aren't so happy with their Nest's either. I guess its good for some and not so good for others, its all a personal preference. Menus are not easily user friendly if you have anyone staying over to house-sit. You would have to teach them how to use it. It's a no go for me.

This product was improperly installed a week ago.... have been promised on two occasions that service techs were on their way to fix the improper install.. I'm still waiting... and now am having difficulty even getting anyone to answer my call.... horrible customer service

This product was supposed to help make my home a "smart" home but purchasing this product was the dumbest thing I could have done. This product was NOT easy to use, it did NOT work at all. For a " third generation" product , i expected to at least be able to easily navigate through the options, easily make selections or even add a simple zipcode for my location. Even the customer service rep from NEST , advised to enter all my info ir to navigate the product menus snd options on my phone instead of the actual touch screen on the unit. I spent an entire day on the phone with multiple customer service reps from NEST. One of them even blamed the faulty operation due to my brand new air conditioner. At the end I did save money, i saved about $300 by returning the product! I would never recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money or have a smart home. Maybe the "fourth generation" will be better.

I especially like the feature of it sensing when I'm going away and coming home.
