Thermostat worked well for few months, but now it is giving error and not setting the temperature correctly. I did change the batteries, reset and reinstall it to resolve the issue but still getting the same error.

It is definitely an upgrade but its very basic when it cone to how you can control it from the app. You cant turn it on or off you can just set comfort temperature.

The energy-saving features are a huge plus, and I’ve already noticed a difference in how often my system runs. It's affordable, easy to use, and works flawlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade to a smart thermostat without breaking the bank!

To be honest, this is a very basic smart thermostat. The sensor touch on the side is kind of hard to find sometimes. But it is nice integrating with Google Home and just being able to tell it by voice to turn the heat up or down and setting schedules and being able to do it from the Google Home app on mobile phone…it’s nice. I would almost advise considering one of the other models that’s slightly higher with a Brighter Display screen as well as a Dial you can turn. other than that it does well.

The schedule does not work. You need to turn it on and off manually. Unfortunately, the price is too high for a simple feature missing. It is a rip off. I wish I just bought a old simple thermostat, so I do not have to turn it on and off manually. I will throw this way and buy another one. It is a waste of time and money!

I returned this unit. I had a c wire issue and even when fixed this thermostat gave me issues. Didn’t act reliably and google themselves couldn’t assist me with the issue. It would misread the actual temperature in my home.

Quick and easy install Google has a guided setup which takes about less than 10 minutes, very sleek really like brush nickel look and the screen is very subtle with limited controls performs very well the device learns your habits and finds ways to save you money which is cool. The google nest thermostat was the last piece to turning my house into a smart home and we really enjoy the ability to change the temperature of the house from our phones.

Wonderful thermostat! I got this to help save energy around the house and the ability to change setting via my phone. It looks nice and modern, and also pretty easy to install! Just follow the app step-by-step guide.

Easy install. Reliable connectivity. Love the fact I can change the temperature from my bed now. Also like that it goes into eco mode when no one is home. Great deal with the ComEd rebate too. Note: No C-wire is required to install. Proof of my configuration in attached picture.

Simple to setup and even simpler to use. Of note, this model is not compatible with remote sensors. If you need that for your home, this won't be the best option. However, if you just need a simple, attractive thermostat that you can control with your phone or voice, this is it.

I didn't realize it from the photos online, but the face of this Nest thermostat is actually a mirror. This is really cool because it means that it reflects the wall color on the opposite wall, making it blend with any decor. We had the more expensive one of these in our last house, but I like this one better. The "learning" function on the more expensive one was glitchy, causing it to turn off the AC sometimes when it was really hot and then it took a while to finally cool off (we lived in South Florida). This one is simple and easy.

The instillation was “spendy,” but it got done. After a month, three electricians and a furnace technician, it works. We purchased a 1914 house two years ago, and we are systematically upgrading. Be wary of embarking on choosing this for a very old house. It works, finally.

Works good. Easy to set up and connect to internet. Works good with iPhone app. Easy to control from app and physically on the thermostat. The display is bright crisp and clear. Just make sure your home has correct wiring for connecting it.

Improved Nest Thermostat will make your life easier. Fairly easy to install, just follow the instructions, and there are a bunch of online instructions as well. The design is minimalistic and looks nice on the wall. Its function is the main highlight, you can do a lot with the Nest app, such as scheduling, and most importantly remote access. Nest makes it easy when you're on a trip to monitor the condition of your house/apartment, making sure the HVAC is working and saving energy when needed, making your energy consumption more optimal depending on your needs.

The Google Nest Smart Programmable Wifi Thermostat is a solid option for the price. It’s easy to install, and the sleek Snow finish looks great in any home. However, if you’re planning to install it on a metal box, make sure to get the metal plate, as it’s required for proper installation.
