No more pushing and turning. You control everything from a touch line on the side of it. After having the older one and being used to pushing it in and turning it was kinda difficult to adjust at first. I found myself using the app more than physically touching the device. Now though after a couple of months I am able to use both and mainly use only the app when I am away from the building to turn on/off the AC. Highly recommend it and works great!

Batteries that came in it were dead, but they charge from the power coming from your hvac system. Simple and easy to connect to our Google Nest Hub, very easy to set up and program thermostat for eco friendly use. Recommend!

I do have an error for low system voltage, but have been checking the battery every few days for almost 2 months, and had no low battery issues. Will try to update if I see a problem. All house members will need to share tracking, IF you CHOOSE to use the home/away functions. I disabled the location tracking b/c my roommate did not have it on her phone and have gone with a schedule instead.

I would give it a thumbs up and a five star so your air-conditioning bill is not horrible every month during Booking’s.

You definitely will need to purchase the face plate if you had a wider thermostat.

Looks awesome, and responds fast when changing temps. Easy to install. Watch a few You Tube videos on it, which made it simple. We had a Zen and this just blows it away. Had to buy the back plate from Amazon, and looks good with thermostat.

Definitely this thermostat is a good option. No issues after using it for about 3 months. If 200$ is. It an issue for it this one is worth the $. I hope this review helped you. We are very happy with our purchase. I can control these through my google home app and it’s been a breeze! Opted to not get the learning model as we are a work from home family and this one is so easy to program.

We’re sorry to learn of your difficulty on how to keep it off of comfort zone if you are home and not walking by the thermostat often. When you manually adjust the temperature, the temperature will stick until the next scheduled temperature change. With a temperature preset, you can easily set a specific temperature that you repeatedly use a bit faster than manually adjusting the temperature dial. Besides using ready-made presets like Comfort, Eco, and Sleep, you can create custom presets. This is helpful for other times you might like a specific temperature that’s not included in your thermostat’s existing presets. Make sure u know what wires to go where. Installed with a common wire as it needs constant power but my old system doesn't have a common wire

Just make sure you watch the video for this exact model. I accidentally watched one for a different version and got scared thinking it wasn’t going to be compatible. Anyway, I love how I can control it through my phone.
