Having recently purchased a GoPro Hero 4, I started accessorizing for all the things I intend to film. This housing was one of the first things on my list. Once I had it in hand, I was very pleased with the solid construction and matte finish. Out of the box it is ready to go and is complimented with and entire blackout setup. I will be getting another one with my next GoPro purchase without a doubt.

I purchased this item to allow me to record my daughters play without annoying anyone sitting around me. It worked great, no one could see the camera or any of the lights that are normally on.

This GoPro product works good for my application.I use it for RC boat videography.I used the GoPro dive case that's clear plastic and noticed alot of glare from the sun reflecting from the clear case in my videos.The blackout case is well constructed with a nice black matte finish.

I like this housing because even during the day it doesn't attract as much attention as the conventional one. It is just as durable, and comes with extra backdoors. Super cool.

The blackout housing for the GoPro camera is great because it makes the camera unnoticeable! I like to take my GoPro to concerts with me and with the normal housing the red lights are always blinking making it a dead giveaway that I am filming plus it annoys other guests. With this blackout housing there are stickers to cover the lights so it is completely blacked out and nobody is suspicious and it doesn't bother the people around me. This is all I have needed to use it for so far and the main reason why I purchased this casing for my camera.

So far so good on this housing. I hope it lasts longer than the clear ones. I have broken 2 clear housings on my motorcycle from the vibrations. Luckily both times I was able to retrieve the camera from the street. I do wish this one allowed you to see the back status light. The only way you know the camera s recording is to look at it. Otherwise I'm satisfied so far. My daughters said it looks cooler too. Oh and it would be nice if the had backs included to work with LCD screen.

Great fit and really protects my camera and makes it easy to add the connectors.

While using the GoPro mounted on the hood of a car, people tend to look and get either curious, scared, or happy to wave. Regardless, using this blacked out skeleton housing somehow simply hides the unit better from public attention. I initially bought this to replace a standard housing and from now on will get only these blacked out style as they are simply less conspicuous...

Great quality housing for Go Pro camera. Makes camera look sleek. Comes with different backing for different situations. Pair it with some sort of holder or "selfie stick" for convenience when in use. Will keep your camera safe.

The GoPro4 already comes with a case, but it is clear. This is a black one intended to reduce glare. If you are shooting with lots of sun, this helps.

I bought this housing thinking it would only come in the skeleton housing making it basically useless for me. I then found out that it does come with the dive housing to better purpose the needs i needed from it. It looks both cosmetically better and it physical matches the gopro better.

The black housing makes the GoPro look extra awesome. Everyone gawks at the GoPro now since they can't tell what it is due to blacked out housing. It looks super sleek now. Additionally, when you take pictures at night it blends in better with the background and less reflects off of it.

Awesome camera. It is capable of far better than I would ever use it for. Exquisite video quality, easy to use and built extremely well. Not cheap but you really get your money worth with this. Since my purchase I notice them being used everywhere for TV and movies.

My original GoPro housing somehow broke and I decided to buy the blackout because it looked more stylish. It happens that besides that it is also very discrete and great for shooting videos on snow.

Love this case for the gopro. Since its all black, it covers up the red light when you record or take pictures so you canbe more incognito.
