The Whole TV crashed after a month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this set on November 4th. Tv had great picture and a decent sound. However as of yesterday (December 21st). The TV no longer works. Every time I turn it on it just automatically pulls up the source screen and won’t do anything other than that screen. If I press any other button it turns the tv off and back on to the source screen again. The only way to get the tv to even turn off is to completely unplug it. If I don’t then it just keeps turning back on. It’s impossible to watch anything. Since it is outside of a month I can’t return it towards a different set. Extremely disappointing since the TV itself was very nice up until this point.

Youtube app stopped working after 3 days

However, the youtube app that comes with the TV stopped working after only 3 days of use. It gets stuck at loading only after 2-3 minutes of streaming. Tried everything I could but nothing works. And I bought this TV mainly to watch youtube...hate to buy another TV stick for youtube.... Currently I am waiting for Hisense to come up with a solution. Don't really want to go through the hassle of returning the TV...

Do not spend money on this TV

Talk to Hisense and they then said they are the Batteries replace the batteries and it worked fine for a while. After 9 months of use, the applications began to freeze, I had to disconnect the TV and connect it to make it work. Talk to Hisense again and they never solved the problem. Now I have a TV that is only rubbish because the one year warranty expired.

Bad review

We did the research as it is the company knows they have a problem with this TV. The recommendation was to bus a new power board so we did for like 60.00 after a week it started doing the same thing. So for me a very bad four hundred And something dollars very bad spent. Emailed Best Buy’s and no reply.

Thought was a great price should just got samsung
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.purchase 3 of these for our home they freeze once in a blue moon remote freeze to the point you have to unplug the TV and replug to get remote to work again. when remote freeze wont change channels or do anything other then power on and off, to fix the issue hold power for 10 seconds on remote and then unplug TV. work for us. also don't have SPECTRUM APP. for TV channels limited on app access!

Watched Dracula Untold. Found what this TV was really worth. Whatever I paid was way too much. Refresh was terrible. Even live HDTV was difficult to watch. Positive I won’t be looking at this brand again.

It is no wonder that we have amassed more trash than bio-mass with this junk. Not even three years? Really?

Shuts down immediately

The Hisense rep walked me through the troubleshooting process of factory reset. Which would temporarily fix the Issue. Now, the tv won’t even power on for more than 20 seconds. Now that I am out of my warranty, Hisense cannot do anything except recommend a repair. The TV has been regularly updated and well taken care of. I even bought another power supply cord which did not change the outcome. Still having issues. I’m somewhat disappointed because the BestBuy rep swayed me away from buying Samsung or LG towards Hisense telling me they “skip the middle man” and is virtually the same TV. Not happy about my selection.

Horrible Tv

The tv offered many great functions from the description. Once I got the television home and I began to go through the settings the screen began to flicker and bounce to every setting, but the one I wanted. The tv volume went up to 100 and as I would try to turn it down it would bounce back up to 100. I couldn’t control the volume and I couldn’t go to settings because the tv wasn’t functioning properly. I returned the tv the very next day. If the tv would have functioned properly this would of been a great deal. I ended up exchanging this for another tv, that cost more, but I’m happy with it

Our analysis correlates this with certain third party universal remote control applications (for example, the Peel universal remote app) resident on smart phones or tablets in the same local WiFi network sending a command to the TV to change the volume without user input. You can resolve the issue by uninstalling such applications from your smart phone or tablet. If the issue persists, please contact the customer care center for the third party application. Only lasted 29 months and board went out! AVOID!

Problems with controller

Bad picture

Just believe me when I say that everything with this tv is a headache if you try to get what you pay for in this product. No 4k. My mothers older Samsung tv out performs this tv in every way and it cost less. If you try to use the smart tv choice, EVERYTHING IS ABYSMALLY SLOW. If you bring it up to support, all they say to do is reset the firmware and it should fix everything. Believe me, this TV sucks.

You get what you pay for

I have had nothing but bad luck with this TV, interferes with my sound bar, screens are lagging. Netflix is slow/buffers (wifi is fine to run Netflix on all other devices) etc. I have since taken it back. Spend the couple extra bucks and get a TV that is of good quality/reviews I will be worth it in the end.

Good buy, but poor quality

So, no TV swap or repair

Not so great!

Does this Occasionally. I guess when it take a notion. And of course only 12 month warranty. Salesman told me this brand would be good choice. Disappointed!

Don't Buy It...

Power issues caused us to contact support for Hisense and we were given the run around. Buy a standard brand. Don't fall for the affordability.
