Always picked up the dust, dander and debris from corners. Attachments came apart easily for cleaning. Overall terrific -- BUT suction broke when something got dislodged deep inside. Took it to a Hoover-authorized repair shop. They provided a NEW one 3 week later under warrantee, no charge. So, maybe buy a newer model. This may have defects.

The bad: Broke quickly with regular use. The vacuum would not stand up on it’s on after a week of regular use. Had to return product.

It was the more expensive one at the store, but it had a 5yr guarantee, so I got it. I use my vacuum every day as prep before opening. After a year it quit recognizing my carpet as carpet and now 4 yrs in the dang thing died yesterday. It clogs at the drop of a hat and always has. It has so many filters to check and see if they are clogged that it runs me nuts. I need a simple quick reliable low maintenance machine. This was not it!
