bought laptop joined the geeks, geek came to house to download old laptop to new the next day laptop would not work. geek would not come back to house to fix so I got an apt for the store store could not fix was told they would get me another I have emailed geek at the store 2 times asking for a update no answer no way to call the store. I picked this laptop because of the screen size if they cant get me this one I will be willing to except one of equal or greater value with a large screen

Keys are shiny, so impossible to see the letters on the keys in any reasonable light. Continued hardware problems with wifi (it's not being found, drivers have been updated and removed/reinstalled; problem continues in Win 11). Cannot recommend, poor design compounded with unexpectedly low quality for an HP product.

Literally used for less than 48 hours, set it up fine switched out of S Mode etc. working today and it froze I turned it off now it’s stuck in S Mode. Geek Squad says it’s an operating system error and I have to bring it in. Back to Best Buy I go.

We are a business. We bought a laptop from Best Buy 10.5.21 expecting a newly hired employee to use it by 10.29.21. The VERY FIRST TIME this laptop was turned on it went immediately to a blue screen of death and the a "fan error code" then wouldnt shut off. Best Buy would not exchange it claiming return cutoff was 10.27.21.

Bought a brand new laptop and was having software issues, struggled with video playback. Gave me no solutions to fix it and kept telling me it wasn't a problem with the laptop and then wanted me to drive an hour to have someone look at it. Will not be purchasing any thing from them again and will tell my friends and family the same.

I am happy with the performance, but this piece of hardware is not as listed in HP. According to HP 17-by4633dx specs it must have a DVD. But does not have one. It comes with a 2230Nvme, I can not find if I can replace it with a 2280 Nvme. I can not find what is the max memory I can install on this laptop.

The product my have been ok if I would have received the computer when told. The gentleman assured that it would be here on a Tuesday. I didn’t show up to pick it up until that Thursday. And it still wouldn’t be here for another week. Plus your extended warranty was excessive compared to Sam’s club.

These people are liars. if you give them an email address they will bombard you continuously with spam. Not worth the bother!!! They agreed not to use email except for order confirmation.

LETTER AND NUMBERS ON THE KEYBOARD ARE NOT CLEAR ENOUGHT FOR ME

14 month later hard drive died. No longer under warranty and $200 to fix.

Lasted only 1 year before falling apart. Literally.

attempting to return. gpu is overheating within an hour of use.

Piece of junk. I will be returning it when I return from my travels.

Never buy an open box as a gift. Didn't realize I got an open box. Gave to my elderly dad for Christmas. Had a bad charging cord. We are in different states. By the time I could get someone to get it to BB, they said it was around 60 days so they would not provide a new cord. I called HP and they said they would if I could get the Ser#. I decided to buy My 55-inch tv someplace else.

Bought this laptop 3 years ago and today the hard drive failed. This product also has a ridiculously  small hard drive too.
