Very good at keeping virus away. Good laptop for school and gaming for a 15 year old

For the price of $599 you can not beat it. SSD hard drive HD 17in screen and a good I5 cpu. The only con I have is that the pictures are misleading does not have a CD/DVD drive. I asked myself when was the last time I put a CD or DVD in my last laptop and I couldn’t even remember. I have switched to streaming Netflix etc… If you are looking for a laptop that you primarily use for streaming and surfing the Internet this is the one to get. If you’re looking for a machine for gaming I would pass.

This is an excellent laptop. Set up was quick and easy. I have had it for two years, and it works like it did when I first purchased it.

I like this laptop and the large size screen. It has all the features that I need. The only downside is the fan is noisy, the keyboard has no backlight, and the battery needs a recharge fairly often if in use all day. Other than these negatives, I am enjoying this laptop very much!

I love the large screen and the speed that I can move through apps. This laptop loads any app (large or small) in the blink of an eye. I only wish I had gotten a larger SSD storage. This is a great unit to have.

Need a new laptop for keeping my recipes on this one really is great big screen quick to up load any recipes I find as well as just surfing the web

I love my computer. It is great for school and the big screen makes it great for movies. Still need to get the hang of how big it is though.

I love my new laptop although it seems to work faster when it's plugged in even though it's fully charged. The screen size is perfect!

Very happy with the laptop, runs fast and I love the screen size. Would have been a 5 star review if the keyboard would be back lit.

Great computer for the money. Fast response and multi-tasks well. There are 2 things I don't like which is why didn't give it 5 stars. The on/off button is not lit when you press it so you have no idea if it's on until the screen lights up. There is a slight delay. The other thing I don't like is the brightness of the screen. It's good when the laptop is plugged in. It dims considerably when on battery only. I've never noticed the dimness on other laptops I've owned when unplugging. This is very noticeable. All in all however, for the price, I would buy again.

Has a nice big screen and was super easy to start up. It walked you through the entire process.

We bought this as an extra work from home laptop to see spread sheets, graphs, etc. Nice big screen. Good quality & fast for streaming video/tv. Sound volume & quality is ok. Laptops are never really known for their speakers. I’d get a set of small speakers to plug into auxiliary/Bluetooth.

I bought this for my 12 year old son and it works perfectly for him. It's got a nice big screen for the price of the laptop, it's even bigger than the one on my MSI gaming laptop, but of course it's not a high refresh or high-end monitor. For normal use by a child or an adult that isn't going to play any high-end games or use high-end apps, this laptop will suffice.

Nice big screen for a low price. Parts are easily upgradeable, but the inside doesn't match the HP website. If you want to add a 2.5 inch SSD there is a place for it, but you will need additional parts to make that miracle happen. The big screen, full keyboard, and 11th gen i5 make this a good buy for under $600 (just expect to upgrade the tiny storage capacity)

Computer is fast and has a nice sharp picture. The only issue I have with it is typing as the key symbols are not sharp enough with the silver color.

I really like this laptop. I eas disappointed that the keys didn't light up from underneath like my previous model did. On the other hand the keys are a bit larger and the letters are also larger. Of course, that doesn't help in low lighting conditions. I have yet to find if this model is bluetooth equipped.

Laptop it's self is great! It's light and has great battery life. Picture is clear and plays videos GREAT! And it's alot faster than my old laptop. The Microsoft Edge I'm not use to it, yet. But, I had same feelings about Chrome when I got last one. So, I'm still getting use to change in OS.

Perfect for school work and the solid state makes this one snappy laptop. The screen is large which works perfectly for me as someone who has two windows side-by-side consistently. Battery life could be better but you can tweak options for better efficiency.
