I got this to use with my laptop when extra storage is needed for things I don't need to keep on it, since it has a limited amount of storage. I can't say enough good about it! It's small enough to fit in any laptop bag, or even a pocket. It's perfect if you use more than one machine and need to access files on any of them, any time, with or without internet access. It's also perfect if you just have some stuff you want to transfer over or for storing pictures. If you're using it consistently as an external drive, it's fast enough to meet your needs. For around $50-60, you can't go wrong!

Great storage space! Had it for about a couple years now so there are a few scratches. Currently using it to store game files. Still works fantastically.

This holds a lot of data - downloaded my entire Google Drive as a backup, which was a lot (I'm an elementary teacher for years, so that's a lot). Nice and small, easy plug and use.

I wanted to get away from paying a monthly fee for cloud space. This is 1 Tb of encrypted space. Its connected on my network and I can access it with all my devices. Plus I got it w/a Best Buy birthday credit. So I’m happy.

perfect fit for my laptop and New laptop case. Laptop originally only provides 250 Gigs.

You can probably find bigger storage for cheaper, but this one works well for storing my games. Don't waste your time setting up the software if you want to store games on the device.
