Fast printing, wireless is amazing for everyone to use. Quality looks great for being in black and white.

Even though it claims to be all in one , it does not function as a fax. I had a problem setting it up and needed geek squad to get the wireless function going. The problem was that the printer ran on M28W software not M29W. We only discovered this after a selftest identified itself as an M28W printer. I am actually happy with the print quality after we got it running. All I needed was a black and white printer.

I was unsuccessful in setting it up to be wireless, but with the cord I managed to get it to print, scan, and copy. The print was sharp and clear, and as a laser printer it is not noisy when printing. I did not recognize the icons on the control pad and the set up instructions did not describe them. But I am not very tech savvy.

The Good: It prints very fast. The scanner works great. It's small for a laser printer and looks nice. The print quality is okay--though, it's probably on par with other low-end laser printers. It's good enough for us to keep it despite it's issues (below). The Bad: I work in IT and I've set up literally hundreds of wireless printers. This is by far the worst process I've ever had to go through to connect a printer to WiFi. Awful and frankly inexcusable. They really should have just put in a full control panel--like other cheap printers have--to avoid being dependent on 3rd party devices to set it up. Tip: If you have an Apple device, use that to connect this to WiFi via the HP Smart app. I tried using two newer Android devices and it straight up doesn't work at all via the app. My older Surface tablet only worked tethering via USB which I didn't want to do because it's not 1997.

This is a great option for home office use. I really don't print too much these days but occasionally need to print to have business decks, notes, and shipping labels on paper. The toner has plenty of ink so I never have to worry about running out. There a bunch of really cheap options for replacement toner which is great. This fits in small spaces, is wirelessly connected, easy to print on all devices. The best part is it works really well.
