    Great little printer. It was just a little difficult to setup. I discovered I have to scan from my laptop to use the feed on the top of the printer. The scans are also saved as photos so it took a while to find where they were being sent to on my laptop. They are saved by the date and time they were scanned.

    We have had this printer for just over a year now. The instant ink deal is a scam. We hardly use our printer and they sent us new ink cartridges a few months in. Once the “free” year trial is up, you can’t even finish the ink cartridges you have. They cut them off from being used and you have to buy your own to continue printing. What a waste. There was losts of ink left in our cartridges and we had to throw them out because they wouldn’t allow us to print anymore. Save the hassle and don’t subscribe to the free year. The printer itself is ok. Nothing fancy. Works for our basic printing needs.

    I was not very impressed with the printing from this. Now that the free ink trail is over I only really use it as a multi page document scanner. The print quality is no better than the non-pro inkjet I had from HP prior. I was expecting that with a pro model there would be an enhanced quality to the output. Scanner is not overly great, but it does the job and it seems to be getting harder to find dedicated scanners especially document feed scanners that don't cost more than this All in one unit. Most of my printing duty switched over to a laser printer once the ink agreement expired on this one. Nothing about the build really feels Pro either. Pretty much every surface is plastic that feels flimsy.

    Overall, a good printer. It can have its moments of flakiness. This is especially true when connecting directly to the printer via Wi-Fi instead of through the Wi-Fi network. It will never be a great photo printer but it does a descent job even if not perfect.
