Great laptop that really wows at a distance but the issues are in the details. The keyboard RGB customization is zoned so options are limited. Also, it's one of the slowest among its competitors for gaming because the GPU power is throttled which means you don't get to use the full capability of the GPU. I returned this laptop. It looks nice though. I really wanted to like it.

The HP Omen Transcend 14 is a triumph of design and display, delivering a gaming laptop experience that is genuinely portable. Its spectacular 3K OLED screen and comfortable keyboard make it an excellent choice for a creator, student, or professional who games on the side. However, to achieve its slim profile and thermal management, HP has intentionally limited the wattage of the GPU. This means its raw gaming performance, while strong, often trails behind similarly spec'd, but thicker, competitors like the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 or Razer Blade 14.

great laptop for people who want something thin and light but also want performance. All-metal body makes it feel robust. Screen is sharp and bright enough for most use cases; has performed well in all AAA titles tested (CS, FS2020, Valorant etc). Battery life can be 8+ hours on integrated graphics. No MUX switch so you have to reboot every time you wanna switch to integrated graphics. Jelly key caps might not appeal to everyone; The shadow black color is a fingerprint magnet (although it is relatively easy to clean).

Great screen if you are ok with slight glossy and good performance

Bought this laptop a few months ago and has been great! Mainly play games on my PS5 but still wanted to be able to play PC only games with my friends. Also wanted to be able to run engineering programs like Solidworks on the go. This laptop has saved so much space in my apartnent going from a desktop to this, and has been able to run every game and software no problem. Very happy with purchase!

Overall the HP Omen trascend 14 is an amazing laptop for how much i was able to get it for. For around 1000 for an open box one, I dont think you can find a similar laptop at the same price. Only a few problems but theyre probably a problem with my specifc laptop more than anything. Some keycaps pop up and must be pressed back down and speakers glitch once in a while. Battery life is around 6-7 hours with medium use.

I love this laptop, it's smooth and run games and coding apps with no issues, has a light weight and so convenient. The only thing that I have an issue with is the sound of the fans that you hear clearly when playing games, but I guess that's understandable for a small laptop.

Purchased this computer for its graphics card and to play on my virtual tabletops. Works as hoped and I appreciate being able to turn off the glowing keyboard as I personally found it distracting.

Overall this is a powerhouse for gaming and everyday use. I found the hardware components excellent, and and it played top tier games on high settings. The keyboard lighting was a bit gaudy, but can be customized with "quieter" lighting to not distract while in gameplay. I did find the USB A ports extremely tight and devices / cords difficult to remove.

Great great laptop, cooling is good, no problems running games. Perfect traveling laptop, usb charging is amazing. Of course having hp means a suite of hp software which is annoying but not nearly as bad as hps used to be

This was a gift for my grandson, pre college. He went home and started working with it right away. No complaints, only smiles.

I had the razer 17 and this is indeed an upgrade. Fast and the colors are so vibrant. Its never hot to touch and the airflow really does a great job maintaining the device's temperature.

This laptop has everything. The build quality is incredible, the battery life lasts all day on docs and web browsing, and it excels at gaming with a strong cpu and gpu as well as an incredible OLED display. The keyboard and display are the highlights for me and make work much more enjoyable.

Love the laptop, very fast and responsive. My ASUS portable monitor is only recognized by the side USB-C, not the back, even though both work for other purposes including charging.

Very nice computer. Sharp color and works well. Does seem that the Battery does require charging everyday.

Omen softwarw has a few bugs, like not disabling gpu. But you can go i to nvidia setting to disable for good battery life.

Awesome it’s got all one need for the college. I cannot think more as it’s an ultimate laptop one has to look for.

I purchase this because we wanted to hit the road trip and my son didn’t want to miss the Roblox updates games. This is speedy and same config as we had for our desktop, response time is good.
