Printer was easy to setup, and I truly love the super tank feature! No more expensive ink cartridges! Print quality is great! Not worried about speed since I don't do volume printing.

So far is printing from thr computer. That is my main concern.

Picked this up when my previous printer failed. It has performed flawlessly. Prints text quickly and clearly, no smudging. Photographs are some of the best I've seen on a home printer. Set up was easy, no stress, and I could start working immediately.

After reading reviews, I picked this printer to replace my HP Envy Inspire 7900 which stopped working because the ink cartridges stopped working properly. So far, this HP Smart Tank is working nicely. The print quality and speed are great and the device runs a bit quieter than my previous printer.

I am very pleased with this printer. My old one was an HP color laser jet with large, expensive ink supply in four colors. Replacements cost about $250, twice a year. This printer meets my needs for excellent B/W & color printing and the printer itself cost less than $250 AND it came with four bottles of ink that will last a year. Upgraded printing at less cost can't be beaten

So far it has worked well for what I need. My only complaint is it is difficult to set up and has disconnected a few times making it frustrating when trying to do work. When it stays connected then it is great but when it doesn’t it can get negative stars from me. Honestly it is 3.5 stars in my opinion.

The HP-Smart Tank 6001 wireless printer is a small compact printer with very good features like the refillable ink tanks and its wireless printing capability. I think it is good deal for the price.

The hardware specifications look good on this printer as it says it supports duplex printing with ink tanks, scanning, and copying as well as USB, wireless, and blue tooth connectivity. However, the USB cable is not included and it takes an unusual connector on the printer side (I was able to salvage the USB cable from my old printer). I was able to get the USB connection working for printing on my own. To get scanning to work, I needed to create an account with HP to allow me to control the scanner that was directly connected to the computer. Copying, however, was not controlled via software and relies on a pair of buttons on the printer itself. There is no obvious way to create two sided copies. The automatic wireless connection failed without any error indication. This entailed the software removing my laptop from the network and creating a direct network connection to the printer. I switched to the USB connector and was able to find the setup wizard. This allowed me to find my network and enter its security password. It then said that it was connected, but the icon on the printer kept blinking and the Finish button would not activate. Going back to check network status on the printer showed that it was still not connected. Using online chat, I was able to finally resolve the issue after 6 hours and 3 different technicians. The third one informed me that HP does not support 'Open' security authentication and I was on my own on resolving the issue. He would not even tell me what options they did support. Every other device, including those of multiple friends and family have connected to our wireless without problem. The printer setup never reported any issue or even provide an error code. Unless one is fairly knowledgeable about networking and technical devices, I would give HP a pass. The software will keep most users from taking advantage of all of the hardware features.

I recently got this printed for back to school also because I’m tired of every time I need to print something I have to go to a store or business like UPS or FedEx much more convenient and faster owning your own printer the one thing about this printer that they never advertised in any of ad or anywhere online if that printer can also actually fax for some reason my parents really wanted a printer that can fax. I don’t know why because nobody I know faxes and it’s 10 times faster to call text or email but they need to print a printer that can fax. I love that you can print stuff through your phone with the app. Also, I love that you can print in color.

I have purchased several different types of printers over the years. This is the best printer ever! The copies in color are so clear. I don't have to refill the ink for over 6000 copies. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone.
