Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the picture quality, ease of use, and the integrated Roku features of this 55" 4K Ultra HD TV. Many appreciate the value for the price and find the setup process straightforward. However, some users have reported issues with the remote control's functionality and occasional volume problems. While we love our Roku TV and the picture is great there are certainly glitches evry now and then that we wonder if are the tv itself, the built in roku or maybe a conflict with wi-fi. The pluses. Great picture, good sound, plenty of inputs for games, etc... and having ROKU let us cut the cable to a degree. 4 stars for the price and quality.

I love it. Picture is wonderful. The price is better than others in this class. I have always liked the roku interface. The one shortcoming is not with the tv but the same roku interface I like. No internet browser for sites I visit that have videos but are not media sites. But it is not the TV it's roku. But that is okay I just use my htpc for that task.

It was time for a upgrade and a bigger TV....The Insignia is an inexpensive 55-inch TV/Ultra HD 4K set....It has an added feature that I like which is the Roku

I actually bought this TV with a voucher from Best Buy as a warranty replacement for a 50" Sharp TV I had for less than a year. First, I must say I love Best Buy for standing behind the products they sell. Secondly, this TV is a great deal. The 55" 4k display is beautiful and the Smart TV features added by the included Roku functionality have left me never changing to my PC as input. RokuTV offers many apps making this much more than a streaming TV. In addition to using SlingTV, Netflix, Hulu... I love that apps are available for functions such as checking out my home surveillance cams. The included Roku seems to be powerful too, works smoothly.

Woke up a few weeks ago to a loud sound. Thought it was a train going through my living room.... got up and walked in there and found my tv had fallen from the wall. Needless to say I went to Best Buy to get some answers on WHY the TV wasn't mounted on a stud.... Was told they were sorry but because the Geed Squad's warranty run out after a year I am out of luck. Then I bought the new tv from them with out a Geek coming over to ruin my chances of having it mounted on the wall again without hitting a stud...

Other than having to use the small Roku remote, this TV has been fantastic so far. It has excellent picture and sound quality at a very reasonable price. I am more than satisfied with my purchase!

I was needing a monitor to travel. I have an small notebook and this monitor is a wonderful solution since I used to work with two big screens. Great quality, easy to setup with windows 10, I didn't need to download any driver and of course, very lightweight. I highly recommend it. :)

Extreme value in a tv. I was hesitant to think a tv in this price could be all that great. However, it is a stunning tv. Crystal clear picture. The deepest blacks I've seen on a tv. I love the Roku interface. Everything just works great on it. The picture is comparable to my in laws $2k+ tv. This is my first 4K tv and I also have a Visio 1080p 65" for my games. This tv has a much better picture than the 1080p Visio and cost a lot less. Overall incredibly happy with my purchase.

This is a perfect tv for your living room for everyday watching / movies. I would not put this tv in my home theater because it has some lighting issues with some of the colors on the tv. Black are really good sometimes and other times they are a lighter black and not that deep rich black you would want like On a higher end tv. For $500 this tv is great thou! Very light weight and super easy to set up.

At first I was impressed, then the tv started flickering. I checked all my cables, etc. I think the ROKUos is causing the flickering/ghosting. Will even flicker in settings menu. Doesn't happen all the time, but it is annoying. Hopefully Insignia/ROKU put out an updates asap to correct this issue. As of now, I would NOT recommend. If updated/corrected, then I will.

For a TV in my living room this is great! I have a projector for the family room, so I just wanted a nice TV for the living room and this one does an excellent job! Its not my primary display, but its big enough (55"), lots of inputs, Roku, and 4k! What's not to like?

It only lasted couple months beyond 5years warranty. Backlight issue as seen on other low cost models. Unless you have a great coverage from a third party, look somewhere else.

This tv didn't even last 6 full months. Called in for service. Lasted 2 days after repair and it started acting up again. Now I have to try to match up time off work to probably have another repair that may or may not work.

I got this 55 roku tv along with a 32inch and a 40 inch roku TV. Let me say that I have a sharp 70 inch, a Sony 40 inch, a Samsung 32 inch and a LG 60 inch. The TV is excellent, specially for elderly people who require simple usage of a remote and TV. The only thing is that once you go past a 40 inch roku TV to a bigger one like this 55, you need to custom calibrate the color for watching or streaming content. The reason I mention this is because if you watch blue ray movies, you will see awesome picture quality, same as Samsung, LG, or Sony. But for some reason if you stream or do antenna, the picture quality is different. And through custom correction it will be bettered but not perfected just less you do custom calibration. The 60 hertz does a really good job too as far as action movies are concerned. Also the price was very good for a 4k. And the ease of use is unbeatable.

The Insignia 55" 4K television has proven to be a great choice. We were already familiar with the Roku functions, so a Roku TV was perfect, easy to set up and use. The picture is great. Can't wait to start watching 4K discs on this tv.

Got this on sale, enjoying the picture and features. Roku is nice built in, all my favorite content available in one place. Great for cord cutters with an antenna on the roof. I think this would be an easy TV for seniors to use because everything is built in. There may be better for 4K HDTVs out there, but for the price and convenience, this one has been fun to use/watch.
