We have had to return them a few times when we have received bad ones out of the box and exchanged for working cables. We prefer to order cables online, as the seem to have better quality and be less expensive.

The differences in cables was explained by a Best Buy associate, who did not just try to talk me into the highest price choice.

If I understand correctly this is adequate for HD connections. I needed to connect my FIOS box to my new TV FIOS can only deliver 1080p or 1080i. So there is no need for a cable to deliver 2160. I don't know if this cable would do that.
