You have to fight with this device to get it to function properly. The connectors are cheap and do not make solid contact. The electronics are intermittent. It's a 50/50 shot for full proper functionality when using this enclosure. The outer casing is very nice, but the parts that count; the ones inside are just very questionable at best.

Gets the job done but noisy and slow

However it was very loud and I could hear the Drive struggling inside. This definitely wouldn't work to make a Drive portable. It is left to hang flimsily inside.

I'm taking it in to be checked out. Powers on spools up but my computer doesn't recognize the hard drive so I'm not sure if it's the equipment or the hard drive, both are brand new.
